I’ve been a battlegrounds only player since morrowind. Ps4 and now pcna. Since the new bgs I’ve been playing them a lot and here’s how I feel the queues should be like for the best experience possible.

4v4 = only one group of 4s only queue. This should be the sweaty perfect comp my group vs your group content. Add better rewards to lure these mini ball groups out of 8v8 griefing. 4v4 just isn’t fun at all the second that 1 player is weaker on either side. Throws the game completely and then toxicity happens.

4v4v4 bring it back for solo Q only. The three teams momentum shifts is great for solo Q. It was great and very healthy before they removed it. At least on pcna (the group q was dead)

8v8 just one queue with 1-4 grouping. This way you can play with friends more casually and especially with lower experienced players no mmr whatsoever.

You end up with less queues than right now, less spawn camping and griefing aka “yo don’t cap relic I wanna get more kills” (we’ve all seen it done). Faster queues and complements more play styles.
