Solo world for ESO plus

I want an option (!) to not see ANY other players while in the open world for ESO+: not in cities, not in delves, not in public dungeons - nowhere.
You already have phasing in the game, so it wont be too hard.
Maybe as separate paid option.

The only way to see other players would be: battlegrounds, Cyro or IC, Dungeon finder.

There’s an addon for this called HideGroup. You can enable and disable it using a command.

This actually sounds like such a bad idea. For one, how many people would actually want or pay for this? 10? 100?
How much would you be willing to pay monthly for this service?

I would bet there are VERY few people who would be willing to pay for such a thing. So why would the Zos team spend time fundamentally breaking the game (because far smaller changes have completely broken the game before-- it's just a hazard of coding), and then fixing it for 1% IF THAT of the player base?

Especially when this option essentially already exists for free on PC?

NO THANK YOU. I would like their time, money, and other resources to be spent on actual content, not Hide Group 2.0

Before suggesting make sure you are 100% know what are you talking about - this addon were never mentioned for what I am asking for
AND it is broken since 2022

    1. This option does not exists.

    2. This could be very cheap since phasing is kinda cheap technology and it is ALREADY in the game - just serves for a bit another purposes

    3. Pretty sure there would be a lot who would want to have their own adventure, which would be free of this freak parade of different colored mounts, costumes, effects etc.

Have you ever noticed how the servers suffer during the beginning of events?

More players > more instances needed > servers get twitchy real fast!

Now phasing may be cheap and already in game BUT I would definitely suspect potentially unlimited instances would make the servers go "pop" very, very quickly!

A solo/offline mode like what Dragon Quest online has now would be cool but I'm not sure how ESO would implement it without overloading their servers. It'd probably requires separate coding and stuff.

While you are not required to interact with them, the game is designed to have other players around. Pretend they're npcs.

While I very much enjoy seeing the world full of players, an "offline" mode would be nice instead of a complete death the day in the future when the game will not be worked on anymore.
I think ESO has many years ahead, but when it will eventually see its sunset I would appreciate the possibility to still play even if alone or on private servers...

ESO is an MMO. That means there are going to be other players in the game. If you want a solo questing game, there are literally thousands of other games to chose from.

I'd love to see a client-side game option for solo to 4 player content scaled to player numbers for instances, using local network co-op capabilities.

But realistically, I doubt it will happen as long as the MMO side of the game still has 10,000+ players. Even if the majority of players are here for TES content and *not* the MMO aspect.

My opinion: I think the devs and end-game players keep trying to treat this game like an MMO with a TES skin, when most of the players (casuals) treat the game as TES with the nuisance of other players existing in their play-space. lol

I am a supporter of having content that can be solo'd but I do not support removing other players from our world. This is an MMO, which means multi player, and it should remain that way.

I feel like this is a great idea if enough players want it!

Lots of ESO communities are evaporating and this would give more options for those who stay around when their friends choose other games.

There are four TES solo questing games already. You can always play one of those instead of asking to have ESO changed into a game that already exists in thousands of different skins.

A huge hurdle (beyond technical limitations) would be the economy. I'd feel very uneasy allowing players access to an untouched zone of resources with zero other players to compete for said resources, or report the player for making a suspiciously perfect loop 23 hours a day (if you catch my meaning).

There’s actually more than 4, though some are no longer playable.

I think the single coolest thing they could ever do, probably only on pc though, is to have people load into one map. Get rid of artifical boundaries and let people move about. This might not work for housing. But, outside of that. Imag8ne running into cyro from West Weald, having a pvp flag on or off, just to traverse over to the morrowind gate and head to stonefalls or the rift. With no loading screens. That would be AWESOME!

OR, if we could still see real action outside of our houses. We could watch a battle in cyro from our haven of the five house. Epic!

If/when ESO is no longer supported and the servers shut down then an offline option would be a nice alternative, but in that case it shouldn't require ESO+. Maybe an additional one-off purchase, like you'd expect for any offline single-player game, but not an on-going subscription.

The only game I know of that's done that is Animal Crossing Pocket Camp (a mobile spin-off of the Nintendo series) which is obviously very different to a whole MMO.

But hopefully it will be a very long time before that's a concern for ESO.
