Any chance that physical Scribing skills could get other elemental/damage types?

Wanting to make a firebrand spellsword (2H, DK), and see that the Smash ability can only be converted into Magicka/Magic damage.
Wondering if there'd be too many issues if all scribing skills could be interchangeable with all damage types?

✭✭✭✭My guess is they feed us the missing damage types etc bit by bit so they have easy scribing content for each update, instead of throwing it all at us at once. Stretching content.1 -

✭✭✭I've been asking for this, but for shock damage, ever since scribing was first released (and especially after frost damage got added to a bunch of extra abilities).
Let me throw my electrically charged daggers/shield at people
Unfortunately, it seems the above comment is a very likely reason we still don't have all damage types for all abilities yet.0 -

Taril✭✭✭✭✭They'll most likely end up with all damage types available for skills.
It's just a matter of time, given that they need to remake the skill graphics for each damage type to have the new particles added.
In the meantime, my main concern is that they update skill line passives. Since, for example, Magic Smash costs Magicka meaning it's not affected by Balanced Blade since that only reduces the Stamina cost of 2h abilities. (Same thing happens with Chilling/Magic Knife and Controlled Fury)1 -

You know, I'm actually fine with that (only stam cost/restore when using 2H).... If.... Hybridizing skills cost both Magicka and Stamina. (Which they don't currently, so I'd defer to your position).Edited by Avran_Sylt on 10 January 2025 15:110
