Transmutation Geodes

It is time to change transmutation geodes into a currency or a crafting material . It shouldn't be an inventory item . I think really transmutation crystals should be an uncapped currency but understand that if you have ESO Plus the crystal cap is raised so a Plus benefit . So if you made Crystal/Geodes a crafting item and able to put into craft bag it would also be an ESO Plus benefit. So either way would work, no reason it should be an inventory item .

A bit off topic, but since we're close...
I was today years old when I recognized that you get just your transmutation crystals back when you dismantle reproduced items.
Since when does this work like that?

Not sure, but Transmutation Station came with Clockwork DLC in 2016 and Collections Stickerbook with reconstruction options with Markarth DLC in 2020, so since 2020?

It would be enough to at least raise the limit. Maybe to 2000(or just 1000) without ESO+ On the other hand, fortunately one can still "store" crystals in the form of gear, even in the inventory of an unused character. I don't remember if a geode can be stored in bank/chest and given to an unused character.

Transmute geodes cannot be put in the bank to transfer to other players.

I know that I can't give it to other players, that is logical, I thought that they are only "Bound".
To be honest, I never thought to research it because I was either making gear for a character or storing crystal as gear in a chest at home.

Craft bag for sure or increase the max cap from 1k to 10k.

My guess is that they don’t want you putting them in the bank because you usually have more space there than in your character inventory.

    Recon vMA resto staves.

    Put staves in bank/chest

    Decon when you need crystals.

That's my point, shouldn't have to do anything to store awkwardly. Should be a crafting material or currency.

Agreed. Should consider raising the cap for Transmutation Geodes at least for everyone. For those paying for ESO+ Plus, Geodes should be added into the Mighty Bottomless Craft Bag. That's value added!

I have friends suggesting using excess Geodes to reconstruct Nirnhoned gear at the cost of 25 and then store them, but that just creates Inventory issues.
