Are Grim Focus Stacks Supposed To Be Canceled When You Kill An Enemy?

Even if I don't use the skill at full stacks, once I kill the last enemy, all my stacks disappear, was this changed? I'm pretty sure I was able to keep them as stacks out of combat yesterday...

dark_hunterxmg✭✭✭Sounds normal to me. Switch the merciless and you should keep the stacks. They really need to update the tool tip on how this skill works. As far as I can tell, the stacks for grim focus are based on being in combat. Kinda strange since being in combat is not clear and rarely correct.0 -

Looks like it only happens when in Imperial City (maybe Cyrodil too, haven't checked it). Outside in overland content, the stacks don't reset outside of combat.0 -

Is it disappearing on bar-swaps? (I'm using Oakensoul).

You can slot Merciless passive on the second bar and use it as WD-Buff on the first bar.0 -

Right, but they’re talking about Grim Focus, the base skill.
I haven’t used that in a looooong time, so perhaps the base skill is bugged in some manner, whereas its morphs are functioning correctly.0
