[CRAFTING] Ancestral Orc Styles {SOLVED}

I have a master writ for a Druid's Braid shield in Ancestral Orc style. I've acquired and learned the shield motif, but the system is saying I still need to "Learn style to unlock". Do I have to learn the *entire* style to craft even a single item from it? (Currently have 5/14).

no you don't need to learn entire style - only for a piece you want to craft.
from my humble view you could be confused, as there are 2 Orcish motifs:
- Crafting Motif 21: Ancient Orc Style - drops in both Wrothgar public dungeons
- Crafting Motif 88: Ancestral Orc Style - the lead for a page drops from Treasure Maps chests in DC base game zones
please, ensure you leaned the proper page.
Also (if you learned a wrong page by mistake) both (especially antiquities one) are not expensive at Guild Traders.

Yup, you are correct - I was sitting on the Ancient Orc style, but learned the correct Ancestral Orc style. D'oh!
