Increase in lag over the last week and a half

I know it has been mentioned with the server issues for a lot of people. However it seems to be getting worse and worse. I took the banner off of my bar, since I figured that might be the culprit but it isn’t any better. It is primarily on boss fights. As much as I love to guess what’s happening and where I’m going to end up for the 3 seconds that my screen is frozen, I was wondering if anyone else was having problems with specific skills or animations. I can play any class, and if I can just figure out which one is the most stable right now I’d be fine. With a group it makes for a good laugh because what else are you gonna do, but I’ve had a heck of a time in IA the last few days with heavy lag on boss fights. Just for reference I have been bouncing between my Templar and arc recently the most so I don’t know if it might be channeled skills, or if it is just the server in general.

It's been more than a week since we've had a full maintenance (they had a 2 hour one last week) and I always notice performance degrades because of this.

I’m on ps5 and I noticed lag starting a few hours before the last maintenance. It’s continuing, albeit intermittently, and mostly in high intensity combat.

I don't think the class really matters in this case. I did the weekly solo Arena yesterday on five different classes and I had multiple long lag spikes/freezes, sometimes followed by disconnecting, during each run. ESO's performance just seems to be getting worse and worse for me lately.

I'm not surprised about the game's already poor performance getting worse based on your time frame. Many folks are on a school break or vacation right now due to the holidays so would have more opportunity to play. Couple that with the New Life Festival event which tends to draw more players and you are adding load to an already stressed game system.

Never in 9 years have I ever seen the servers so bad and stay bad. It’s really been bad for multiple weeks prior to even the new life festival starting. From servers being down to insane desync and bugs, love this game but it’s pushing me away. You’d think making billions off this game you could reinvest in new servers or something. Maybe that’s too much to ask, idk.
