Just curious why you would advertise something and then not follow through with it?

    Did you reactivate it?
Since the event was extended, that meant you needed to redeem it again since the one you redeemed before expired on the 19th. After they extended it, any accepted after that expired on the 20th.

Yep. I reactivated it yesterday when I logged on. Then logged on today and it was gone. And I know I activated it because I filled up the back inventory I had left just to be safe about not logging back in today.

I'm not really upset about it. I expect things like this from eso. It's just a feature of the game now.

Did you log in after 10am Eastern?

That’s when the initial trial expired on the 19th. Extending it a day would mean it ended at that time on the 20th.

Yeah the extended trial ended at 10am ET today. Extended by 24hrs from the original end time of 10am ET Dec. 19.

I also had no idea that you had to reactivate eso+ free trial, when I logged on on 19.12 12am ET and saw it was expired I thought it was not extended or 19.12 already was extended date. Seems like i miss out another limited time offer from that server outtage.

The eso+ trial was very real. All one had to do for the extra one day was to reapply for it. I would complain as to why wasn't this shared in the announcement also? ( though I can't quite say I read much on it - so scratch that out). But the moment I saw it gone on the 20th with the knowledge that it should be there it felt kind of natural to check and upon seeing the usually grey button white, it was a done deal. I mean it kind of stands to reason to double check knowing it was not originally scheduled?

TBH, the way to extend the trial could've been communicated better. Much better.

Don't say it was extended. The original trial was not extended. An additional 1-day trial requiring separate activation was offered after the original trial expired. That is how it should have been communicated.

Yes, I was able to take advantage of the added trial, but that's because I assume the worst here and I checked.
