    Any information about trials?

Of course. they're going to stop adding them because they hate trial players.

I mean, that's why we've gotten one a year for ages, and things are so imbalanced, and they don't really do tuning for them either. If the trial community mattered they'd be adding more than one single item for them a year.

I don't think it's because ZOS hates raiders. I think it's because there aren't many raiders.

There are so few raiders because the lack of content and questionable design changes drove away a lot of midgame players. There really isn't much to do for an average player. You can get an achievement or a perfected set of gear, but if you are not hardcore enough for trifectas, there's no real reason to continue playing the same few trials over and over again.
I really wish there were better rewards, not just for the most hardcore players. For example, the way it is now, there is no real incentive to prog hardmodes if you know that you won't get the trifecta. You'd ony get a title, and most of us already have tons of them.

To me it felt way more healthier before crown store took over completely sharing a lot of the same rewards to endgame content. I remember how many people I know became raiders and pushed for trifectas and scores after just once expressing their interest in covering their vamp with a skin from vmol, then to more shiny at vhof etc. being completely casual before that, like I for example bought the game to literally just read new tes lorebooks initially. This progression is lost with being showered with free and paid cosmetics every month to the point you're too lazy to browse the collection anymore and use defaults most of the time. Loot and looks are a big thing for an (online) RPG and the balance is tricky to not lost something when adding more fluff every single year in masses.

Oh I absolutely agree! The sheer amount of flashy mounts, skins, etc is crazy.
But still I think it's nice to have more earnable stuff. Things like achievement mounts (like that blue nix-ox or the Gold Road lynx) and the new BG style pages are a step in the right direction, I just wish there was more of that. And I think it would be better if doing vet trials was more rewarding. The last few only give you some body markings which is pretty underwhelming in my opinion. Better achievement rewards and some random drops like that robot polymorph would encourage more people to do trials.

Once again ZERO love for solo players...

I too am a solo player closed out of a lot of content.

You'll be closed out of a lot more, too, if they make a harder overland.

Like somebody said earlier, fighting a skeever for two minutes so you can harvest a resource node is going to push a lot of players away.

just the idea of wasting time on trash while trying to do zone dailies is already enough to push me away.

A toggle would be great, when harvesting could have easy mode and when questing could set it to be harder.

A toggle would be great to give people the choice but it causes issues in shared zones as what happens if you have the toggle set to make things harder and someone comes along that has the toggle set to keep things at the current difficulty level ? You're both fighting the exact same mobs, so which setting takes precedence ?

Such a toggle would need to take effect on the player rather than the shared mobs and effectively de-power a player that has it enabled. That still wouldn't help though if you have another player without the toggle enabled fighting the same mobs and slaughtering them. Unfortunately that pretty much means the increased difficulty being forced on all players or a return to segregated zones inteded for specific veteran ranks.

Yeah the BG ones especially seems like a good direction personally, though to make it pve wise it would require some degree of uniqueness of it, as we have an over saturation of the same stuff if crown store and it's definitely not helping the cause

    Craglorn…….. CRAGLORN!!!!!!!!!?????

I love Craglorn, but…….. why in this or any other universe is it being held up as an example of what to do!

Yes, it’s pretty, good gracious above it’s beautiful in places. The buried cities are exquisite! The lore and the stories are wonderful. But… They rebuilt it because nobody was there! The quest chain was impossible to complete unless everyone was at the exact same stage! There were so few people who finished the quest chain you could’ve fitted them all in one classroom! There are people in guilds today who have spent years trying to put together a story group or just a single other player to go and have a try at Shadas Tears.

Why is this thing being used as the example if the plan is to inspire confidence?

The place was so quiet, once you worked out where the mobs were you could amble around hoovering up mountains of resources because you were simply the only person there. I spent whole afternoons wandering around the place before the rebuild and never saw anybody…. It’s not much better now.

The zone was such a disaster it got a a rebuild, the main quest chopped into pieces, difficulty spikes and pits all over the place, some of the prettiest dungeons and best world building in the game where, after the rebuild, a player could encounter either opponents so feeble they could walk through the entire lot simply holding down the left mouth button, or massive packs of trash mobs with hundreds of thousands of health which beat the snot out of them, basically next door to each other!

The open world needs a higher difficulty but it has to be something the player can control, there is no way around that. To do otherwise risks cratering the existing population many of whom are casual players. As in, people who play to relax, not get the daylights knocked out of them in veteran trials.

The quests do need to be beefed up. The base game main quest needs to be beefed up. There is some great storytelling and some wonderful set pieces, but the current delivery is a mess.

But whatever example you use, this zone is not it

I'd GLADLY spend much more money on the game if Cyrodiil went back to how it was supposed to be in 2014 performance and population wise. Just imagine each alliance having hundreds of players, wreaking havoc without performance issues... TAKE MY MONEY ZOS!!!

The only thing that I was concerned about was the pvp skills thing. Does it mean that the available skills in pvp zones will be standardized irrespective of your class; or, each skill tree will have only certain skills that will work in pvp?

I think this is their last chance to get Cyrodiil in order. Heal stacking, shield stacking, counter siege that most people ignore because of heal stacking and shield stacking. The PvP community is getting pretty tired of 12 people groups being able to fight whole factions with no fear of getting killed while at the same time keeping 50 people stuck in combat. It's a mess. If ZOS doesn't plan on making massive changes to fix these types of things they may as well use the resources elsewhere because the last few PvPers will call it quits.
