Hello everyone, (sorry for my english)
I leaved the game in 2019 after the Elsweyr chapter release and I was 100% focused on PvP during 4 years mainly Cyrdoiil for solo or small scale, sometime BG too. My main was a magdk but I'm used to play every class in PvP for fun yes.
I want to return but I don't understand anything what the hell happenned in PvP ???
I watched some PvP build and everything seems so different from 2019 :
-I noticed mag class use more stamina skill why ???
-mag class rely on vigor to heal absolute no sense
-Mag build with no light armor but 2 with heavy and 5 medium wtf
-No more destruction staff on mag build

I just starded to watch yesterday and I wasn't really interested by the news my bad. Anyway I would be interested in having a short summary of the PvP situation, the meta and the difference form 2019. Thanks you very much.

In fact, now if you don't need HA, then you can take the weapon that will give you more bonus. Now there are dw, two-handed, thunderstaffs in top. The same goes for clothes that give you the right bonuses or select the right prog sets. It's the same with the tank. Now you can be very resilient with 25k hp and without heavy armor. I'm currently going in two light sets and a medium monster set, but this is on necromancer, and it's broken. Universal on bg there are now 4 medium pieces, 3 light, DW or TH or LS.

The average parameters on the screen. But make allowances for the necromancer.

oh ya scribing. pvp mast have thing now. be sure to read it. Don't think that I'm doing ZOS sales) necromancer in full nerf is not in my best interest) But it became possible to implement a lot of interesting things. For example, my necromancer build.

Magicka builds using Stamina might have something to do with changes involving hybridization. I assume that Magicka skills are easily cut off in PvP by having Negate Magic cast on you, which might be why Magicka users are using Vigor to heal.

Oh, I forgot about hybridization. It's full now. I'm in full magic right now, but I have two backbar skills on stamina. And there's one stamina-based attacker, but it's very cheap. There are more hybrid builds that use two resources to the fullest, which is now the order of the day.

The screenshot is probably an exotic build by now, as it is very much focused on one resource. If this is magic, then there will be more problems in such a build. You will often have nothing to free yourself with. Definitely, if you are not pursuing any specific goals, then it is better to use two resources.

Nevertheless, one main resource works well, although with its own problems, sometimes serious ones. But you have to transfer part of the load to another resource anyway.

Ok thanks for the reply so if I understand well we can do everything we want and still be decent in PvP because of hybridization. Really strange design... So the most import thing is basically stat regardless your armor type or weapon hmm.

Hybrid are superior to those based on only one resource ok but how do you manage the sustainability of 2 resources in the same build ?

I will try to read everything I can to catch up the delay. Thanks you
