Dearest zos: can you please add more iron atronachs to the game for our endeavors?

I see players struggling to get 10 iron atronach kills. There's are few in the forgotten wastes public dungeon in vardenfell but not enough for large groups of players trying to farm them. If you're lucky to get a hit cos some op arcanists evaporate them in a second lol then they take a long time to respawn. I'm not immortal ...if I was I wouldn't mind these time sinks so much,,I am however a bit of a completionist and am ocd about doing my daily endeavors and events and now golden pursuits. With Christmas coming up I'll be busy with family and friends real life events.

I would appreciateciate it if you could please add more of the things we got to kill for endeavors ...more giants, iron atronachs and Thieves troves need to respawn a bit faster. There's too many players and not enough items to go round. It's about our gaming time.

Thank you kindly if you read this ❤️🌻

OP - don't forget there are 6 or so in every volcanic vent on High Isle or Galen.
It's a tradition, or an old charter, or something...

Also, in the Forgotten Wastes, that final boss will summon unlimited iron atronachs if players would just leave him alive long enough to do so.

Now that's a good tip! I'll definitely check that out next time this endeavor comes up.

The iron atronachs in the Forgotten Wastes do respawn reasonably quick when I go there, but there are only a few in a certain location so they can be difficult to kill upon respawning if other players are there melting them quickly. When I'm killing a boss in a delve or public dungeon, or something like an iron atronach for an endeavor, I'll back off and let other players finish it off if I see them come running up. It's unfortunate that more players seemingly won't do that simple act of kindness, and instead just finish melting it before anyone else can get a hit in. You don't need to land the killing blow-- unless the endeavor is to kill a certain number of enemies in a specific way, such as with class skills-- so backing off and letting others get some hits in is just common courtesy.

I forgot about the ones at the volcanic vents; they will probably be the most reliable source.

I know, it’s the same when I’m trying to let that boss summon enough atronachs for an endeavor, lots of times someone runs up and kills it.

I didn't know he summons any iron atronachs, because apparently I've never seen him live long enough to summon any. I did successfully solo an oblivion portal once, including soloing the final boss, and it took a long time, but it was so long ago that any details about what kind of adds he summoned have faded from my memory. Usually players in that fight tell everyone not to bash him so they can melt him quicker without him going into any immunity phases. How long does he need to stay alive before he starts summoning iron atronachs?

The suggestion about volcanic vents seems like the best idea so far, since another one will activate fairly soon after shutting one down, so all you need to do is stay by a wayshrine with the wayshrine map open to see which one goes active next.

I always do Vents for the Iron Atronachs. It's fast and all we need to do is hit each one once, which is helpful if there are a lot of players melting them down fast. And we can complete the Vent daily at the same time.

It may be just 30 seconds or so before he summons the first one. If no one else is around, I’ll light attack and then just stay alive until he summons one. Then I kill that one, and then in about 30 seconds he’ll summon another one, and so on and so on until he dies. But I really like the vent idea too, and I’m going to do that one next time. 😊

This, and its not only courtesy, if you lets other in on the kill they will finish earlier and leave.

There is a delve with them in vvardenfell too. Infinite archive has quite a few usually too. The soul razer tip is awesome if true. I never noticed that.

I did most of them at the vents, still a decent amount of players clearing them.

Also in the Deadlands, although you might have to hunt around for them, and in the Atoll of Immolation (Oblivion Portals), but whether or not they spawn there seems to be up to RNG.

Its the same with all of the atronach endeavors though probably the worst with Iron Atros. I just spent at least 15 - 20 minutes in one small area with 30 other people running around like mad trying to get 6 or 7 storm atronach spawns before anyone else. Its stupid

They also need to stop inflating the number that you have to kill to earn the endeavors as that is helping to make the situation silly. They upped the number of flesh atros to 15 and Abamath became a battle royale zone for the whole day.

Maybe ask them to change the endeavor demand back to its original value?

My go-to spot for flesh atronachs is the Traitor's Vault delve in Artaeum.

They don’t (anymore, at least), I tried it.

Having a more helpful tip could also be useful. I believe the mouse over hint just mentions Vvardenfell but not where specifically and doesn’t mention Volcanic Vents, which is probably the most reliable/speedy source.

There are also iron atronachs in at least one of the Western Skyrim delves (Dragonhome). There's a few spots where clearing a couple of cultists will get them replaced by a series of atronachs culminating in the iron one. There's a few randomly patrolling corridors as well.

DLC and Chapter options only apply if you have them. Base game players get the choice of Forgotten Wastes, and that is all.
