The Soulrazor Knights count as well.

I know, it’s the same when I’m trying to let that boss summon enough atronachs for an endeavor, lots of times someone runs up and kills it.

I didn't know he summons any iron atronachs, because apparently I've never seen him live long enough to summon any. I did successfully solo an oblivion portal once, including soloing the final boss, and it took a long time, but it was so long ago that any details about what kind of adds he summoned have faded from my memory. Usually players in that fight tell everyone not to bash him so they can melt him quicker without him going into any immunity phases. How long does he need to stay alive before he starts summoning iron atronachs?
The suggestion about volcanic vents seems like the best idea so far, since another one will activate fairly soon after shutting one down, so all you need to do is stay by a wayshrine with the wayshrine map open to see which one goes active next.
This, and its not only courtesy, if you lets other in on the kill they will finish earlier and leave.SeaGtGruff wrote: »The Soulrazor Knights count as well.
Now that's a good tip! I'll definitely check that out next time this endeavor comes up.
The iron atronachs in the Forgotten Wastes do respawn reasonably quick when I go there, but there are only a few in a certain location so they can be difficult to kill upon respawning if other players are there melting them quickly. When I'm killing a boss in a delve or public dungeon, or something like an iron atronach for an endeavor, I'll back off and let other players finish it off if I see them come running up. It's unfortunate that more players seemingly won't do that simple act of kindness, and instead just finish melting it before anyone else can get a hit in. You don't need to land the killing blow-- unless the endeavor is to kill a certain number of enemies in a specific way, such as with class skills-- so backing off and letting others get some hits in is just common courtesy.
I forgot about the ones at the volcanic vents; they will probably be the most reliable source.

They don’t (anymore, at least), I tried it.alpha_synuclein wrote: »As far as I remember trial dummies also count.
