• EU megaservers for maintenance – December 23, 9:00 UTC (4:00AM EST) - 14:00 UTC (9:00AM EST)
It ends up in a defence fest. I have seen matches with one group just camping at their relict. And groups that kept the 5th enemy relict at their place without handing it in just to troll the losing side. It just incites to dispisable behavior.
Not that with 3 teams it was any different. Imo relic should just spawn in random location while 2 teams hunts for it and then bring it to their base instead of each team has a relic to defend. Otherwise it becomes a turtlefest. Too many players with too high time to kill/respawn for a traditional CTF.
Played a couple of times this weekend, an every match ran to the full 15 minutes, and none were particularly exciting.
But then I've not given 2 team BGs a fair chance as I was busy when it changed from 3 teams, then High Isle, and I'm busy doing other things until New Life, when, well, it's New Life... Yeah, I'll have time then haha!
Previously there were 12 players divided to 3 teams so 4 person per relic. Now it is 8 person per relic. So they can make two relics per team. It would create more dynamic match in my opinion.
