NB tank magicka-based self-heal

Hello!
So I recently noticed my "main" somehow become NB Khajiit, I do dailies and quests and writs and gathering with this one, for reasons its just faster because of sneak bonuses. I like to avoid unnecessary fights because of delays it takes while my play time is somewhat limited.
My main "Adventuring" set is:
- Night Mother Embrace;
- Jailbreaker;
- Ring of Wild Hunt for running;
- Ring of Pale Order for fighting;
- 5% Movement Speed ring;
But there are situations I cannot solo so I leveled a tank skill line and got myself "Tank" set:
- Mighty Chudan;
- Brands of Imperium;
- Leeching Plate;
- 46k HP, nearly 30k resists;
Also:
- Vampire stage 1, Dark Stalker for faster run and sneak and run-while-sneaking, nothing else;
- Steed mundus stone for faster running, dont really want to switch to Serpent because it will take additional step when switching between Tank and Adventure modes;

Those situations are Dragon killing dailies, some world bosses my Isobel cant tank long enough, and normal dungeon runs.
But the problem is, I either dont know about or there arent any magicka-bases self-healing abilities for this setup, only Sap Essence morph from Siphoning skill line, but it's very weak and not reliable for dragon fights. All my heals/shields are stamina-based (Resolving Vigor, Bone Shield), but I need stamina for break-frees and blocking.
I need strong magicka-based self-heal to keep myself alive after engaging the dragon and until there are enough players killing it so I can back off and drop aggro trying to actually not die.
Practice shows there are very few chances I can fight a dragon in Adventuring set and not die way too fast.
I can heavy-attack to replenish stamina, but magicka pool remains almost unused.
Leeching Strikes are ok most of the time, but is unreliable: I cant swing all the time, sometimes I need to block or roll-dodge or there arent any dragons in melee range while I taking continuous damage, and dragon hits hard to swing around for 1944 hp per swing to get health back fast enough.
Would like to remain single-bar setup to reduce keypressing.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    - Dark Cloak morph
    - Malevolent Offering
    - Vampiric Drain
    - Any Scribed skill with Healing Focus script

    All use Magicka and provide a decent amount of burst healing.

    For over time healing you have:

    - Refreshing Path morph
    - Strife
    - Structured Entropy morph
    - Energy Orb morph
    - Any Scribed skill with the Healing Signature script

    Again, Magicka based skills that provide decent healing over time.

    Malevolent Offering seems like best choice since Dark Cloak is needed for "Adventuring" setup and Vampiric Drain is a criminal act (not a big deal outside of towns but accidents may happen so I'd like to avoid using this one).
    I dont like "Cone" in Malevolent Offering's description and "yourself or ally in front of you", I'd like to guarantee heal myself, not someone else who may be running around a dragon while I tank it. Does this skill require a target? It may happen I need heal but no targets around, at least in melee range.
    Also, any siggestions for ultimate? Werewolf gives 15% stamina regen, but its mutually exclusive with Vampirism, I use Strategic Reserves.
    HoTs are not good enough. If only Resolving Vigor could be magicka-based...

    The skill does not need a target. Since its only a heal skill.

    As far as accidentally healing others... Heals like this will prioritize healing yourself unless you're at full life and even if not it will still prioritize yourself unless you're targeting a party member or specifically going out of your way to ensure you're directly looking at an ally and not an enemy.

    Can't go wrong with Soul Siphon for a burst heal.

    Temporal Guard can be useful for passive Minor Protection (And can be a burst heal/resource restore) especially if not using Dark Shroud.

    Consuming Darkness isn't too bad for its Major Protection (Either morph has merits based on what you want, damage or better Major Protection uptime)

    Could also look at Reviving Barrier for a honking big shield and HoT.

    Can also look at some of the weapon skill ultimates. You never mentioned what your weapons were, but things like Shield Wall, Lacerate and Berserker Strike can provide additional survivability.

    For "Adventuring" setup I use Dual Wield (Bloodthirst + Whirling Blades) or Bow (Focused Aim + Draining Shot + Acid Spray).
    I also have Restoration for lazy dungeoning (Illustruous Healing + Radiating Regeneration + Combat Prayer).
    For tanking I use only Pierce Armor for taunting + passives.
    It looks like there are plenty of options to self-heal, if only there would be plain simple convertation of magicka into health for myself only and without ant fancy side-effects. For ultimate I'd like one that adds useful passive effect for tanking purposes like Werewolf stam regen bonus and never use it to not decrease Strategic Reserve effect.

    There is. You were already told. Malevolent Offering. Single strongest burst heal in the game when scaled by damage and a staple of every NB in PvP that wants to survive a dozen people rushing them down. I'd also suggest Dark Cloak as an absolutely insane survival tool that works especially well for perma block tanks. But since it seems you are using the other morph (Maybe? The wording is a bit hard to tell) then I guess that's off the table.

    There is, it just happens to conflict with your "Adventuring" setup that uses Shadowy Disguise.

    Dark Cloak is NB's Tank designed self heal. It heals self only and uses Magicka (Allowing for Stam to be used on Blocking). It just happens to be a morph of the cloak skill that has uses besides self healing.

    Outside of that, your best bet is Wield Soul scribed for Healing. Yes, you can heal others with it but you have to really go out of your way in order to do so. If you don't have access to Gold Road, then Malevolent Offering is your best bet with the same caveat.

    Then go with Temporal Guard from the Psijic skill line. Passive Minor Protection for having it slotted (And you can also benefit from the Concentrated Barrier passive from the same skill line to get a shield when you brace)

    Okay, thanks everybody for your input. I think I'm going to end up with Rsijic ultimate and Malevolent Offering morph.

    If you're worried about Malevolent Offering healing someone else and you have scribing, you can use the healing script with Ulfrid's Contingency and then add a couple other bonuses as well. That skill has a pretty high tool-tip that while not as high as Malevolent Offering, it does heal everyone in it's area of effect. Only issue I guess is that its not an immediate heal and requires you to use another skill to trigger it.

    There are a few other scribing skills that can be written as burst heals as well. But Malevolent Offering will always be the biggest single target heal.

    If you want to stay on one bar, you can use a Frost Staff to get the same blocking bonus as One-Handed-and-Shield, but your blocking will cost magicka instead.

    Plus, you'll be able to heavy attack for a free 12-15k-point damage shield anytime you want while also restoring resources.

    It also gives you a stronger weapon enchantment, which tanks usually use to debuff the boss more than with a one-handed weapon (one reason tanks usually backbar a Destruction Staff).

    It's a personal preference thing--I run a one-bar Archive build as a frost staff tank, and I enjoy these perks. But some people like the look and feel of having a shield.

    For taunts, you can use Frost Clench, Inner Rage, or your preferred scribing ability.
