Accessibility Options for Visual Effects

ZOS,

Hi, the purpose of this post is to respectfully request the option to please turn off certain in-game effects, namely the hot, neon-blue spinner that shows when Imperial Physique is active on your player character and second is to shut off the spinning 'wind' that indicates the radius for the new Banner Scribe ability.

Please keep in mind, the purpose of this post is not intended to be critical of either of these game elements in any shape or form. However, for my part both of these effects are distracting, can cause confusion in the middle of a fight, sometimes cause nausea or otherwise make me spend less time using them. As it stands today, given the chaos that goes on in Imperial City as well as all the effects already in play in other PvP and PvE areas, I feel the gameplay would be better suited to not have us forced to deal with having to 'take in' these effects as well.

For Imperial Physique, I have no issue with the other party seeing an effect in fact, I think the effects on their side are crisp, clean and toned-down considerably. I just can't handle all that constant spinning. Secondly, if I'm in like a 4-man run, you know we already see the banner that someone is using, we don't need a reminder that it has its own radius that it affects. As a Tank, this constant wind blowing around is becoming very much annoying and mainly a distraction causing me to miss things. And to also include the ability to shut off the awful noise that comes with the Banner when activated, or perhaps just change that as well to something less intense?

In short, I feel that both of the visual effects I've described are burdensome and unnecessary. Can we please have an option to shut these off, or could affects like these perhaps be grouped together and just shut off that group? Is perhaps anyone aware of a mod that might also be helpful for disabling these things and bringing me and my group some peace? Until this can be done I won't be using either of these things because it's one thing to provide a useful buff, but I don't see why we can't do that without killing the experience, not just for me, but for everyone I run with who have voiced similar opinions to me during the run and I agree with them.

If that's the one when the player has a flag on their back...I saw this effect for the first time today when I was in a pug for a dungeon. I don't know if the colour is always the same, but the colour was red, and it was very confusing because sometimes, in the thick of battle, I sometimes thought I was seeing the effect for an imminent AoE attack from a mob or boss. There's just too much going on now with all the effects to see what I need to see at times.

So I would vote for an option to turn off all the amusement park effects and get back to basics.

Red is probably from the fire buff. Would be nice if we could have a simplified mode where AoE buffs are silent and just a simple circle on the ground. I wouldn’t suggest removing the ability to see buff range though, as people need to stand in the circle.
