✭✭✭✭Pretty disappointing offerings this time. A couple furnishings isn't terrible, but trying to spin the crafting mats (standard rewards, 4x of each not even enough to upgrade a single piece of gear) and 10k gold (2x5k) (an actually pathetic amount, we've seen 100k rewards with decent regularity in sparse months before - that's an amount that people actually can use) as anything special is kinda sad. Definitely feel like there should've been something more for a holiday month.
Edit: That throne, so prominently pictured in the header image? As far as I can tell; not a reward either. Just, like, what? Reading this I kinda just feel bad for whoever had to write this news post, they gave you nothing to work with.Edited by acastanza_ESO on 26 November 2024 18:3416 -

✭✭I'm sorry, but we get rare materials all the time from the login rewards, so what makes these more special to be acknowledged now? I'm all for free stuff, but this seems rather bottom of the barrel to present, I mean, two furnishings, 10k gold, 2 grand scrolls, and mats that we already get every month. Especially if we compare to all the previous months this year. November had seals, all the same mats plus 2 extra (so 6 in total whereas December is 4 unless I misunderstood), a head and body marking. Seriously, after Q3 and Q4 underwhelming updates and so much smaller chapter I really starts thinking about quiting. If next year will still habe so much smaller content I don't see reason to pay for eso+ anymore...

I always did think all the Ouroboros styles should have been integrated into in-game furnishings.
Especially each chapter Ouroboros style could have been added into each chapter event's coffer loot pool, and/or purchased with tickets from the Impressario.

✭Players could have forgotten that in past Decembers we've seen backlash from players because Devs put "too many good rewards" in December, a month of festivities in which people often go to holiday and don't login at all.
I don't forget, so "what we get is what we deserve" - but yeah, I'm sad too.
I am thankful for the crates returning in crown store showcase but I think this is a missed opportunity: we could have gotten at least 1 crate for each of the 3 seasons we'll have on sale in December.A: "We, as humans, should respect and take care of each other like in a Co-op, not a PvP 🌸"

But if I had to venture a guess, I'd speculate that it's because ZoS wants to use December and New Life to launch its first major Golden Pursuits with multiple giveaways. Thus confining the bulk of the month's notable giveaways to that instead.
But again, that's a guess.

✭✭✭✭✭For being december of the 10th anniversary this is very lacklustre and disappointing.
Like even the furniture that was mentioned in a new article is lacklustre. A single wreathe and 4 pieces of ice? The crown exclusive ice is nice, but considering the time, article, and how pretty much all snow/ice furniture is crown only (which is ridiculous), it would've been nice getting a bunch of ice as well as the snow items. Maybe even some icy boulders.
Then some crates, cosmetic or something would've been nice. Most of it is just the same typical rewards.[Lie] Of course! I don't even worship Daedra!0 -

Nah a few years ago people just said put some of the better items towards the beginning on the month, which they have done in the past particularly in the summer when peopleare also on vacation. That way people still get stuff even if they dont log every day. Think of it ths way: login rewards are designed as sort of loyalty insentives. Thats the entire point. I normally log in daily. I literally didnt even bother yesterday. I played something else cause who cares. For the first time in months. Inventory space is tight. I dont need any more crown poisons or whatever wasting inventory space. Its xmas and the 10th anniversary. It was a weak showing full stop. Period.2
