Appreciate it! If you do so please do it on PC-EU so we could probably get a deal when you have one im missing : D
I'll be doing it on both PC servers eventually (so I'm good with starting on PC EU!) - I play about evenly on both, lots of alts, and everyone who's out questing or exploring harvests whatever she runs across as to nodes!

@TaSheen Could you probably already put some time into this? Any update from some console players too about the drop rates which seem to be significantly better on console. You might wanna try your luck @katanagirl1 ?

I don’t know where you are hearing that from, like I said I have never had any luck with rare anything in Vvardenfell. I can only stand farming for an hour or two at a time before I get bored so maybe that is just not long enough.

Unfortunately its not ^^ i got a drop about every 4 hours in average but i also farmed for 10h+ without getting any. But it should be different for what ive heard from console players so you could easily get a drop within 2 hours of farming

That’s too much boredom for me. I would just buy the plants but like I said I did not see any for sale on the guild traders that were not ones you could buy from home goods npcs, so I guess the console players you are talking to are on another server or sell in zone chat, though I have never seen any for sale there either.
I don't have the time yet, still another family thing in just a day or so, and I really don't farm for that many hours at a time when I DO farm.... it's alongside questing, or antiquities. But as soon as I can get over all this family crap, I'll see what I can do.

Any idea of what that Mushroom, Polyp Stinkhorn is worth? I'm have one over on Xbox/NA but it's hard to know something's worth when there aren't any listed for sale anywhere!

Very nice write up, @ElderOfTamriel! We appreciate the time you spend compiling this useful information for us collectors.
Just a note: the poison pax mushrooms can also be pickpocketed from alchemist NPCs. I don't recall stealing any other mushroom types, but it could certainly be possible.ElderOfTamriel wrote: »Has anyone ever gotten a furnishing off a shroom beetle btw? Yes, I've looted some mushroom furnishings from beetles, but they were the common ones that also drop in the Plunder Skulls. I actually spent a few days just killing beetles, and it soon became apparent that the potential rewards were severely outweighed by the time investment required.

First thanks for the compliments, i really love doing that stuff and if i can help anyone with it by sharing this, i gladly do it.
And oh thats some very usefull information, ill add that to the list thanks! You looted some of the mushrooms from alchemists actually?
Also, thanks for confirming furnishing drops fro beetles again. You got several mushrooms from beetles and actually blue ones as most mushrooms from plunder skulls are blue? Or are you refering to the poison pax ones with "common"? So same as for the alchemists? Also, are you on PC or Console?
The other guy on console actually looted a poison pax shelf from beetles too.

But he also looted mushrooms, volcanic cluster which do not drop from plunder skulls.
And ive talked to a guy who sold the Hanging Pitcher Cluster over a year ago and he recalled he got the plant by killing mobs in a mushroom themed zone. which i think has to be Vvardenfell and he probably killed a shroom beetle mid fight and looted the plant from there. The only reasonable answer to his scenario. But obviously cant tell exactly what happened there. Just me theory.

The Poison Pax Shelf and Poison Pax Stool are green quality furnishings, while the Poison Pax Cluster and the Poison Pax Group are white quality, and drop more frequently from alchemist's pockets. But they can all be stolen from them.
I don't recall exactly which ones or what quality I got from the Shroom Beetles, but there were a lot of them listed on TTC, and they were very cheap. So undoubtedly from the Plunder Skull pool. And yes, I play on PC.
Edit: I just looked on TTC, and there is one Polyp Stinkhorn listed for 150 million. I kinda doubt it will sell, but you never know. I recognize the name as someone who flips rare items regularly. I wonder how much they paid for it?
