Is there any way I can read "Note from Cantor Krin'ze" after its gone from my Inventory?

So, I got the two new companions from the crown store, but in my haste to get going with the new quests I didn't realise there were two lore books in my inventory I had to read before starting the quest lines. It looks like as soon as I started the Moonlit Shadow quest, Note from Cantor Krin'ze disappeared from my inventory even though I hadn't read it! I now have a gap in my Eidetic Memory that it looks like I can never complete! Fortunately I spotted Auridon Target Brief in my Quest Items inventory so at least I got that one.

Is there any other way of reading Note from Cantor Krin'ze or am I forever cursed with a gap in my Companion Correspondence?

    Is that the starter book?

For me, it showed up after Zerith’s last quest on the floor next to his tomb.

Can you cancel the quest and reaccept it from the companion collectables menu?

From the content, it's most probably the book that shows up at the end of the questline directly at the ending location.

So, no, there's no way to read it during the questline once you've started it - but it's not completely gone, as you can read it afterwards at least.

If you have other character, maybe do that Companion quest again, but then you would need to finish Mages' Guild questline first.

Thanks for the help! Yes, it was indeed inside his tomb after I finished the quest.
