Persistent audio lag issues on PS5 post Gold Road update

I'm having an issue on PS5 where the audio will lag and sometimes sounds will stop and then happen all at once almost like an audio rubberbanding. I hadn't noticed this until the Gold Road chapter update was released on PS5.

After searching I've found numerous other users experiencing the same problem.

I notice it most often when I'm in grouped content running like a Dungeon or something. I've tried all the usual troubleshooting steps on my end including changing my PS5 audio from Dolby Atmos to Linear PCM and no change. It's very annoying.

    I've tried totally deleting all my saved data for ESO and the typical troubleshooting like in that guide. I also included a link from this past month over on the ESO reddit page where a number of other users reported the same problem on PS5 and noting it starting around Gold Road's update.

    Not to mention the horrible frame drops and constant freezes when ever you engage an enemy or during a boss fight. Don’t worry they broke everything and overloaded the server with this “housing update”

    I’m in 3 progs and they have postponed all runs until it’s fixed which will probably be next year at this rate. So I’m not even playing the game cause it’s so horrible and I know plenty of others who have given up and left the game completely

    If you can make sure to tell them all to open a support ticket here on the website and describe the audio lag issue they're having. Maybe get some more attention to it since there doesn't seem to be a lot of posts on it here.

    I'm having the same problem with the sound lagging just questing solo ever since the patch. And it never did that before.

    A ticket isn't going to solve anything because it isn't user specific. It's the game itself

    I'm still having consistent audio lag in most content when more than 1 thing happens on screen. Anywhere from 1-4 seconds. Ridiculous and annoying

    Edit: I've deleted and reinstalled the game, cleared system cache, deleted game save file, reset my router, and swapped between in-game graphics settings. Nothing has worked. I will submit a ticket as suggested but it has to be a server issue
