VR weapon suggestion?

Not using staves.

Main weapon bow. Sorcerer. Pondering melee weapon backup.

Dont need/want top dps, Im a werewolf so Im trying to work with that and staff + magicka stacking = crap.

Debating dw or 2h because yall know theyre gonna nerf the sheet out of bash.

Advice? That isnt "go vampire". Dog's non negotiable.

The bleed is mediocre, better of going for crit and using daggers.

everything has bugs, so it's going to change in the future. The dagger crits, for example, don't actually work at the moment.

If fights are long enough for bleeds to matter (axes) I would be concerned.

2hander is out, every comparison with it and other weapons leaves it at the bottom of the pile. Even if they nerf bash to death, dw and bow will still beat 2hander in every way.
In particular, due to the nature of most cases with mobs that can't be CC'd, ranged combat is strongly encouraged by current boss mechanics. There is no advantage to being melee-centric.

Sadly, using every AE class skill you have, and a 1h+shield is currently (as far as I can tell) the most viable VR-content solo'ing build. That will change post 1.1.1 with all the nerfs, but for the moment, it gets the job done. Or just spam impulse like every other sorc in the world.

And don't discount bash just yet. Just because it won't be "OP" anymore doesn't mean it won't be effective.
