Farming the ayleid blacksmith station and the lead drop rate is terrible. Are there information what the average drop rate is?

✭The drop rate for DLC leads is terrible. Especially for codex completion, for the second and third required pieces... it's really terrible. It's been brought to the attention of ZOS over and over again, but I don't think they're willing to accommodate the player base for this request. It's really unfortunate. Not being able to complete codexes, despite trying my best, is really frustrating for me. Hopefully ZOS will change their minds.Man did not weave the web of life – he is merely a strand in it. ✭The RNG is real because I got all the ayleid backsmithing station leads without even realizing it real quick and I don't even plan to use it. Would be nice if Zenimax could find a new system to reward/earn things through, like idk, some kind of NPC that could sell us things for gold or even a chapter specific currency you could earn by doing quests/dailies/events in the zones from it.... what are those called? Oh yeah-- vendors. Vendors, ZOS.0 -

✭Well actually you can buy leads from Olo but it will probably take more time to wait for the specific lead to be on offer than to farm it oneself...1 -

✭Exactly.... which is why I think there should be a chapter/regional specific vendor that just has them all the time (and not just leads, but that's a broader subject). RNG should not always be the way, especially since some gamers prefer having a clear goal/objective to reach to get the things they want.
Like even ToT-- if I could have had a clear goal to get all of the fragments for the Captain Kaleen houseguest, maybe I would have actually kept playing it. But mindlessly farming it for days, months, to over a year and still not getting them all???? Yeah, no thanks.

✭I am trying to complete the last fragment for the Ayleid Blacksmithing station and according to that addon the lead dropping in Silorn is the only one remaining. But it just does not want to drop. Is there ANYthing I can do to enhance my drop chance?
I farm this since Sunday and nada, nada, nada.0 -

✭Honestly, it could just be bad RNG. I have the Aylied Anvil and I didn't even farm for it, I just happened to pick up the leads during normal play.1 -

I farm this since Sunday and nada, nada, nada.
This weekend I spent 3.5 hours in Toothmaul Gully PD (killing a group event boss over and over every 5 minutes) for Lead, around 2-3 hours killing Valley of the Watcher WB over and over for Lead, and finished it off with almost 3 hours of farm cloth nodes in Galen for Lead.
So 3 Leads for Stormweaver's Cavort (2/3 codex) took me around 8 hours of grind, so yeah, some Leads have a really *** chance of dropping.0 -

Ursadoom✭I have been farming that lead for the kilt in Shadowfen and it's pretty bad. I have been picking flowers for 6 hours and nothing. It's not fun video game engagement.1 -
