Queuing for new battlegrounds doesn't work (VIDEO)

So as there is an event on for the new battlegrounds I thought I'd give it a go. Went to queue up, had a full group of 8 of us, then was kicked out of the game for no reason.
Since then, my game has been incredibly slow.
Has anyone else experienced this?

✭✭✭✭✭how are you queuing into BGs with 8 in the group?
even the 8v8 queue only allows teams up to 4 maxplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (fully filled out with current game), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them
in progress: acquiring mundus stones (currently only have the thief)

There was 2 in my group (plus a companion each), I queued us up as group leader, joined (somehow) without the group being full. Then 5 minutes later it kicked us all out.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭because its 8v8, its easier for groups of 2 or 3 to get into the queue
if it kicked everyone out after 5 min, then there was 1 slot it was unable to fill for whatever reason (i know there were a lot of issues with this early on after the patch and supposedly those issues have been resolved)
i suppose its still possible that it could be buggy, or it was outside of prime time and couldnt find 16 players in the queue for an 8v8plays PC/NA
