This is most likely caused by one of these two things:I have logged tickets in the past, nothing helps. If it is busy, I get kicked.

1: Your network or computer is unable to process the large amounts of internet packages in time, causing you to disconnect. Check all network equipment on what load they can handle, and place all internet cables in the fastest ports. (Keep in mind, MMO's require a much larger loadprocessing than anything else. So the network equipment may be working fine with everything else, except MMO gaming.)
2: Your GPU or CPU is unable to process the large load in time to show it on screen. Causing you to disconnect. Try lowering your graphic settings, to take some of the load off of these. And see if that solves the issue.
I've actually had the first happen before on my own computer, which caused me to get a gaming router. As the original router was unable to process large loads fast enough, causing disconnects.
Goodluck!
That would be the case if it wasn't ONLY happening under heavy load. The issue as described by the OP points to a specific problem on the system itself. Which seems unrelated to the ping spikes many are experiencing, as those ping spikes also happen without any heavy load. Now it could be extreme coincidence that the ping spikes always happened for the OP exactly while the OP was under heavy load, but that would be a very negligible chance. This is most likely caused by one of these two things:I have logged tickets in the past, nothing helps. Alternatively, OP, this could have nothing at all to do with your computer or Internet connection, as has been the case for many ESO players over the last several months. Here’s a very long thread to bring you up to speed: https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/658253/zos-massive-spike-in-ping-lag-in-recent-days-what-gives

In any case, it does no harm to troubleshoot these things. If it gets fixed, it gets fixed.
PS: It is easy to blame ZOS for some issues, when they aren't necessarily on their end. This is why I specifically look at the problem as it is presented, and target any possible solutions towards that specific problem.

This happens to me when I do not have a static IP set. It may not be your problem, but it's the only solution that I ever found so I try to suggest it just in case it can help anybody. There's few things as frustrating as the disconnects in Cyro.

I think my carrier sets my IP. I did not pay for a static IP.
Is that how you managed the static IP?
