Is the library side quest in Infinite Archive bugged?

The last 10 or so times I've been in the archive, the Library never shows up as a side quest. Have gone up to Tho'at level 3 almost every time. I get repeats of some on the way, but never the library.

It is still showing up, but I have to agree it seems much rarer since U44.

Have you completed the achievements for all the side portals? When they pop, they're weighted to favor those of which you still need to finish all difficulty levels. Once they're all completed, then they all seem to pop at the same frequency.

I finished all the side quests almost a year ago. I can honestly say that unless I was hunting for pages, the Library has shown up almost every single Archive run, except since Update 44 when it stopped appearing.

Do you mean the Filers wing where we need to destroy the tomeshells? If so then I sure hope it's less frequent now. I absolutely hate that wing and don't even try to defeat it any more.

No, the OP means the gather 10 books quest side area.

And I love that tomeshell side area. It's so easy.

Oh, ok. I've found that sometimes after I turn in the book quest in doesn't always bring me back to pick up a new quest as fast as it used to. I'll see what happens after I turn my current one in.

I’ve noticed that too. I run through arc 2 each day for the two dailies. It’s been several days since turning in my last 10 pages quest. I am starting to think they stopped at some number.

Does not appear for me too in 20+ runs Arc 1 & 2, sometimes 3.
Though i think my reason is that i always exit Theatre of War (Aramril) room, because i don't want to waste my time,
maybe there is a pre-determined sequence and i am breaking it. Other rooms do appear well (goat, watcher, lights, corridor).

Yeah I always go on from 2 if I get some decent visions. And I always skip Aramril too if I’m by myself. I just can’t solo her. But I was doing that all along and the library unknown has disappeared more recently.

I had a period of time when I didn't get the quest for two weeks, running two arcs a day. I thought it was bugged. It appeared again one day, but I had gotten out of the habit of looking for the pages. Took me awhile to get the habit back. Now this side quest appears about as often as the others, but finding the pages is wildly erratic. I'll find them for 3-4 stages in a row, then go a few days without getting one.

RNG is gonna RNG.

The library shows up fairly regularly for me. It is the only side quest I will do now I have got all the side quest achievements.

It's a shame if it appears less frequently.
The room with random bookshelves and lootable containers is nice.

I mean the one where you collect pages for the library.

I have the side quests achievements as well. I still do the library, cross the corridor, and the ghost lights. But I'm about done with the bugginess and jankiness of ghostlights, and am about start auto-skipping it as well. It used to be 99% complete rate for me (the 1% being lag or some ghod-awful RNG), but now, it's about 50% complete rate after it was 'updated.'

Destozumo's quest shows up to me with the same frequency as before U44. If I don't have the quest, it'll most likely come up during a short 2-3-arc run. Rarely, a day may go by without the library coming up, but that's it. What really annoys me is how erratically the sheaves appear: the other day I went almost two full arcs without getting a single one.

I just do the daily and it often takes many of these to finish this side quest.
