Looted 2 Galen treasure maps from a thieves trove, stacked even though these are unique?
I looted this today, while questing from a thieves trove. Anyone else have had this happen? Are these possible to split or will it say not possible because i have one already.. are these two only possible to move around as a stack?

✭✭✭✭that seems like a bug.
i guess they will be reduced to 1 map when you dig up the treasure chest, but it could also be a visual issue and actually be 1 map.
Either way you could only find out by digging up the chestmiaow! i'm Luna ( she/her ).

Well yeah that's one possibility. Or it actually behaves like a stack when going out to dig it up, and i could dig another chest right away. Or next time i login to that character, there is no stack no more, just one map.0

✭✭✭You should be able to split stack and put one in the bank, I would think.

✭✭✭✭✭it only does this if you do the "loot all" function, if you loot individually it wont work to stackIf the devs could somehow turn this into a feature it would be a glorious day for all of Tamriel.
literally the only thing that would have to be done to allow maps to stack would pretty much be remove the "unique" flag, not sure there is really any technical hurdles with it since surveys function near the sameplays PC/NA

i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

So i finally got to test this out by digging up the chest. Couldn't test this earlier because i did not have Galen DLC. I dug one of the treasure chest up and the other treasure map remained in inventory. So the stack of treasure maps worked as stacks normally do 👍.
I initiated a trade with the map earlier though, and then it showed to the recipient that there was only one map on the trade window, so i canceled the trade and waited until i got a chance to dig up the treasure myself.1
