West Weald Legion Motif Style

A few of us have been farming West Weald incursions to get the West Weald Legion Motif and to complete the West Weald achievements. Not a single one of us has gotten any of the pieces though so none of us can complete the achievements or chapter.

Is there a known reason for this problem?

It hasn't started dropping yet.

It will be announced in the Crown Store showcase when it will start dropping, and that's also when it'll be available to buy outright. I expect it next month.

Granted, it is late (it really should have started dropping in October), but we've never gotten word that it has started to drop yet.

Why is it included in the game then if its not actually in the game?! That seems weird.

The motifs are added to the game in a given update, but they don't start releasing until the drops are turned on. That's why they're already viewable in game and the achievements are there, but the pages aren't actually dropping yet.

They do this with most collectables. You can even see the outfit styles or other goodies for all events of a specific quarter as soon as the patch drops, but we can't actually get them until the event happens.

The thing this time is that they've been really late on turning on the motif drops. Usually, the Chapter releases with one motif drop, then the second one starts dropping around October and the Trial one in September (the Q1 dungeons get their drops turned on in July and August). This year, however, it almost felt like they forgot about the dungeon drops (they just turned themselves on when the Q3 patch dropped) and the trial one also dropped without fanfare, so it really seemed like the West Weald motif should have been in the October showcase. I guess since we don't have Q3 dungeons and a Q4 zone that they're delaying the motif drops.

Yeah I fear this is perhaps intended as a "replacement" for actual Q4 content... an ever slower drip of stuff that should honestly just be included with the chapter, to keep everyone coming back to West Weald to run the dailies all over again.

I got used to this, I kept all my Mirrormoor Incursions dailies boxes until they release the motif...

I play on PS/NA and I hope that when they finally drop that other players will be available to help with the Mirrormoor Incursions. However, folks are already posting on this forum that on their server there are not many players now in West Weald. I know folks will post that they can easily and quickly solo Mirrormoor Incursions, but I don't think every player can do that.

Once the motif starts dropping the farmers will return to the zone to farm it.

What's likely going to happen (as it's happened every one so far) is that once the drop starts then the Incursions will get more populated for a bit.

It makes sense that they're really light now since we just had the event so people burnt out farming those, but then once the motifs get turned on they'll have a reason to come back for a bit. But then as people start to finish their achievements and the motifs drop in price, fewer and fewer people will do them and it'll end up like Harrowstorms.

I can see why ZOS does this since they do want this idea of people coming back to zones every so often. It just does seem a bit extended this year more than normal.
(but I'll say that if ZOS wants me to get back into the West Weald, just give us a new class with the next chapter. I have a great idea for a new character who's from Skingrad and I'm dying to get him started and then have him clear the West Weald zone, if only I had a reason to make him and see the new, improved tutorial.)

Weird on a grand scheme of things? Yes. Weird if you play this game? No. They literally do this with nearly every non base zone motif and with guaranteed every dungeon motif - staggered release but added in the game files immediately. Has been like this for about 7 years now if you’ve been around

Yeah...again...thats weird.

In game...it clearly states if you do certain events like incursions you will get certain rewards. It shows a list of achievements for you to work on.

Problem of course is...thats a bit dishonest since if you do those events its not actually giving those rewards. But nowhere have I seen in game does it ever say that. So people just keep trying and hoping to get it, and think its just bad RNG and their fault when its not.

So, from the patterns I have seen, it'll likely be in November's CSS, OR It'll start dropping after update 44 launches. I'd try farming them on OCT 28th whenthe servers pop up on PC and see if they are dropping then. If not, we will have to keep an eye on the CSS.

I am particularly, and extremely, disappointed by this delay. Because the consequence for me and my RP guild is the cancellation of several events that I had to finish BEFORE 2025 (2E 592 events) or about ten canceled events.
I started by excepting the idea of the standard Imperial Legion uniform (House Hexos as standard equipment since 2021). But the transition had to be made for my unit belonging to West Weald Legion and that I have been running for several years.

For me, the regional faction's craft motif is supposed to release day-one with the expansion. As a logical reward for daily quest givers.
But this year... The Legion rewards you by offering you Daedric pages. And it is the Daedra who will reward you by giving you Legion pages.

I innocently thought that West Weald Legion pages would drop during Fallen Leaves. But like Kindred's Concord last year, it didn't appear as expected and ZOS deleted all mentions of the style in the rewards.
I then thought it would come out on the 18th, like Kindred's Concord last year. But it didn't.

... usually this means it will start dropping in-game at about the same time. Hopefully we'll be seeing it in a couple days!

Wouldn't know - I haven't had any drop from either source so far

Yeah, I did only about 5 characters to do the dailies and farmed a few times. I got boots on the first one and nothing on since, so I didn't know if it was only when I turned my dailies in.

It can drop from the Mirromeres themselves., though the drop rate for me has been abysmal.

Definitely! I just noticed that I only have three of the Lucent Sentinel styles and as many times I have done the Mirrormors since the release, that's REALLY bad drop.

Lucent Sentinel doesn't come from the Mirrormoors. That's the one from the Lucent Citadel weekly box, and that was also dropping during the recent event.
