Fate Eater daily quest bugged

I got the daily by someone sharing with me.
We kill the boss and now I only need to collect legionary weapons. Quest markers are there but no weapons to pick up.
Did a reloadui.
Respawned at a wayshrine
Logged off and on.
Nothing worked.
I now gave it up and had to forfeit on the reward. Annoying.
