This new ability produces a sound cue every single time another player steps into the AoE and I personally find both the chosen audio 'track' and the volume of it both loud and intrusive.
So much so that I cannot run the skill. I have tried, but unless is a really static scenario (like the dragons in Sunspire) I just can't.
It completely drowns other sound cues that I do find useful (and in some cases rely on) and frankly it feels like an assault on my senses.
Furthermore I don't understand why it was deemed necessary to add a sound cue at all (unless is the same case as 'The Bane Gun' in Borderlands 2, where the sound is a meant to be punishing as part of the design).
Originally I thought it was just a 'me' problem, I do admit that I am somewhat sensitive to auditory stimulation, but from the 'running commentary' on the subject in the groups I'm part of it would transpire that other players also find it irritating.
Would it be possible to either reduce the sound compression or ideally rethink whether it requires a sound cue at all? We've been fine without cues on other skills that provide buffs (like Grand Healing and morphs, Blessing of Protection and morphs etc.).
