Witches Events Not Giving Rewards or Credit

Today the final boss for Public Dungeons is not dropping the Gold Dremora Plunder Skull item. We have done multiple attempts on a few different public dungeons in different zones...DLC and Base. Still a few of us have not had it dropped. The last few days it hasnt been a problem. Just today.

✭✭✭You haven't done one of the random world encounters that drop in certain places have you?
They also drop the same skull they are the "sweeper" part of Dremora Skull, Public & Sweeper.

✭✭✭It's those events that drop from the sky, usually two waves, first trash, second a dremora, vampire or similar plus mob or two a little bit harder than first wave.
You can se them about to drop by a purple pattern on the ground and they drop everywhere....... might just be base game actually ..... not 100% on that.
They definitely count for a skull I got one from one earlier.
Edit:- I believe they added the IC part this year, maybe they forgot to remove the old part

cptscotty✭✭✭✭Didnt do the event you are talking about. We ended up getting a gold skull eventually. But it took a few runs. Apparently the same thing happened to some others yesterday but not me. Takes a couple times killing a group boss for it to count.0

cptscotty✭✭✭✭Just had one of the gold maps not give me anything when looting it either. Others reporting the same thing. This was a purple sword at the map and nothing was given back for looting. Nothing in the logs. Nothing in inventory. Nothing in collections.0

cptscotty✭✭✭✭Again it happens. Thats 3 times today I have had something like this happen where I am missing out on items for the event. Other people in my group it has happened to them at least once per day since it started.
This time it was another treasure map. Malabal Tor. No loot. The one before that was Alikir.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭I think "sweeper" would be overland quest bosses, not the mobs and mini-boss that fall from the sky-- those are considered to be "incursions" and drop the type of golden plunder skull you'd get from a dolmen.
With public dungeons, it seems like the bosses may or may not drop plunder skulls depending on how long it's been since the last plunder skull-- that is, they have a cooldown. If you're basically "farming" bosses in a public dungeon and are in a group that can farm the bosses quickly, you might have to kill several bosses before you get another plunder skull.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

The Dark Fissures (mini dolmens) do not drop Incursion skulls. They drop Public/Sweeper skulls.
This is the only type of skull I have ever gotten off of them, and it is confirmed over on UESP.0
