What execute to use with Warden?

Just now converted my warden to PVP and curious what skills people are using? Duel wield on the front bar and sword and board on the back. I'm used to playing a NB so the warden skill line is completely different. I'm using Whirling Blades but what other executes are people using? Any advise please?

Thank you from the bottom of my NB heart.

With stam-based weapons the traditional setup is going to be Dual Wield's Whirling blades. In some cases you might also consider the 2Hand execute. In my preference I still go with reverse Slice since I prefer to fight in large battles. In a few rare cases I've seen people use both when dualing on front and 2handing on back specifically with the Asylum's 2hander for the ultigen. Though I wouldn't recommend that these days since you'd loose space for a lot of other important skills.

Despite being knocked down a tad in damage lately the Warden's main strength is still AoE burst when in tight spaces. Loading up your Fissure and then weaving from a medium or heavy attack into a DB, spammable, or even directly into your execute is still pretty much the play for most large fights. Works especially well inside of keeps and when on flags and even better if you can catch someone from behind while they aren't paying attention. In a solo fight it'll be much harder to hurt someone with this as it can be seen coming from a while away. That new burst AoE scribing skill is pretty much the bread and butter of this too but I know less about that since I don't have access to it. But it falls into the same vein - stacked AoE burst. And it pairs nicely with your Fissure and Whirling blades. These days DB seems less useful so if you can afford to save up ult for Northern Storm then do so. It's pretty much always worth it.

Thanks Sluggy, that helps a lot. I'll try those options. My brain must be slow today, but what is DB? I'm sure as soon as you say it I'll recall lol.
