I know this has been asked many times before, but ZOS please make Eidectic Memory books account-wide. I'm not including Lore Books, or Shalidor's Library, just Eidectic. I'm so tired of realizing a book is in a Quest only location and the only way to get it is to beg a friend to do the quest so they can invite me once they get to the appropriate location. I'll be happy to find the book on another character just as long as it will count toward the total of Eidectic Memory books found. (This won't impact Mages Guild skill line, Mora mythic, or anything that affects leveling in-game skills). Alternatively, don't put books in quest bound locations, but this won't fix those already in game. Please!
There are little reasons "Eidetic Memory" books shouldn't be account wide at this point. As for account wide books of any sort.... just... no.
I can't tell if this is sarcasm, but a lot of people love playing more than one character. This isn't even an argument against it, it's just bait.Use one character only in this game, which solves all of these pesky account wide problems.

I'm totally against anything else being made account-wide, the pendulum has swung too far in that direction already.
