Maintenance for the week of November 25:
• [COMPLETE] Xbox: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – November 27, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC)
• [COMPLETE] PlayStation®: NA and EU megaservers for maintenance – November 27, 6:00AM EST (11:00 UTC) - 9:00AM EST (14:00 UTC)

More maintenance? Again? During an event?

@ZOS_Kevin Now that the maintenance is over, I noticed the Group Finder and Home Tours being disabled:yqrapollilew.png

For anyone wondering why people complain about maintenance so much, this is a prime example. You're taking limited event time (doesn't matter how little time, or how many events we have) from your players only for seemingly NOTHING to get fixed, yet you break more things along the way. This is honestly getting ridiculous and very tiresome.

Also, not to mention that Xbox EU is still having ongoing maintenance? So they're getting screwed over even more, with no compensation.

Xbox EU players hsve lost 2 days with maintenance, 2 of 9 days. They promised 9 days with this event, but we only get 7.

And there will be no compensation? Why?

Late addition to the topic, just popped into my head, but we had to work to get this event. We as a community, a SOCIETY, had to work together to earn the full days of the event, and then they take time away from us. Just a thought.

Maintenance has long been a bone of contention on the EU server. A feeling of them and us so to speak. Then there are the times when it all goes pear shaped when you will be lucky to get any game time in at all. Such comments just don't cut the mustard, sorry to say.

Maintenance time is only an inconvenience for the minority, not the majority who are at work, school, college etc. which is infinitely better than the other way round.

ZoS gives sufficient notice, and are pretty consistent with the day of the week, start time and duration, so everyone knows exactly what to expect and when.

And ZoS do extend events if maintenance goes significantly over time.

I'm not a ZoS apologist by any stretch, but fair's fair.

There is no way to avoid maintenance during an event when the events are non stop.

It isn't really one day though, both consoles had long maintenance last week too

Notice the OP's username. Looks ozzie.

Ozzie download speeds can be garbage.

Maintenance isn't just the server downtime. It's patches and what US / European players might be able to download in a flash, can take all day for some ozzies.

    That can potentially cost tickets.

It can't be that hard to schedule a one-day maintenance layover between separate events.

Yep. Console had long maintenance 3 weeks in a row, patch maintenance, then quarterly maintenance for xbox, patch version update for ps, then this week another one for quarterly backend. Its just alot in a row during events. I know some is regular maintenance pattern

    Look at the bright side.
Scheduling maintenance during events cuts down on lost play time for normal stuff between events.
