That is not how double drops work. It is essentially two rolls of the dice, which is why you can get odd numbers of resources like 7 raw ancestor silk (1st independent roll was 3, 2nd independent roll was 4, not a single roll that then gets doubled). So you might have gotten 0 luminous ink on first roll and 1 luminous ink on second roll.

I am not saying for sure that luminous ink is included in Explorer's Event, but just that 1 luminous ink does not preclude it from being included. You'd probably need to see 3 or 4 luminous ink to be positive. 2 could just be a normal pull + a plentiful harvester pull, not necessarily 1 each from normal pull + Explorer's Event pull. 3 would mean luminous ink from normal roll, luminous ink from Explorer's Event roll, and one of them triggering a plentiful harvester proc that also pulled an ink.

Yeah I know that I just answered at face value that when they do drop they are not doubled . I farmed for an hour and dropped 30 ink so although a small sample size I would say they are much easier to farm due to the double chance drop.
