Lag
The game is very laggy no matter what. Trials, pvp, zones, dungeons you name it the game lags terribly since a couple of patches ago. A few things to lessen the lag.

1. Combine all recipes, motifs, diagrams, ect account wide. There is really no reason to learn anything on multiple characters. Yes this will impact the market but I rather have a lag free game than X person to horde more gold.
2. Skyshards account wide no need to farm on multiple toons this is redundant Bothersome and just plain boring and a pain in my side for 19 other alts. No need to store more unnecessary database information. Sure I can run around the game for an hour and have more than I would ever need but what's the point I only play 2. I assume this will be ignored given skyshards are in the crownstore which nobody buys because why are they 800 crowns Ha Ha. just no.

Annoying unnecessary things

1. Training your horse once a day with a total of 180 days to train a horse. If I have the gold let me max all my characters horse stats. This is unnecessary but thank god all my toons are maxed besides 1. Sorry new players.
2. Nerf Nerf Nerf zero buffs. Whenever something is too strong in PVP guess what ? PVE players have to deal with the consequences and suffer every single time. 90% of your playerbase if not more are pve players and yet we have to be punished for it and deal with it. So the 10% of other players are happy. Read the room dude you guys are making horrible game design choices due to not even a margin of the playerbase. Take a hint. Also re work old sets instead of adding in more nobody uses 90% of other sets because they're so awful compared to the top tier sets. Quit nerfing and buff them. Everyone is now happy see how that works ? Not even going to speak on terrible class changes that is one of the biggest reasons people left.

Content is Dripped fed but made 2 billion dollars and brag about it. At least put that 2 billion back into the game.... same release content recycled over and over again but new zone..l..

IA was a nice touch but rather lack luster please add more zones that arent BLACK AND GREEN please for the love of god save my eyes and make some changes lore friendly to add in a beach or something. good grief. Also increase the currency per stage or either lower the prices altogether. Wack

Idk what happened this last update but I disconnect with 2 gb wifi multiple times a day. No other game does this and people have already complained.

Scribing I dont even where to begin with this probably the worst system we've had to date. Another grind to keep players busy until new content comes out. This should be account wide I spent 3 hours doing scrbing of the 2 era on all my alts. That's pathetic no excuse for that crap. Remind me of scrying and psycji skill lines no need to be that long of an grind. Ofc that wont change considering their crown store buys.

Just a few things but I have more but this post is long enough and sure nothing will be changed.

I actually love getting skyshards on all my characters. Gets them out into the world to grab a few levels while exploring, they harvest nodes the whole time they're out, find wayshrines, unlock and loot chests.... I also really enjoy the antiquities, the Psijic quest line, and the scribing quest line.

I wouldn't be happy if all that got removed.... or made account wide....

These are just a list of one player's perceived QoL improvements (supported by some, opposed by others), masquerading as a fix for a performance issue that is only experienced by a minority of players and which is being investigated/worked on by a recently increased team of engineers. There's no evidence that these points relate in any way to the recent performance issues since their status quo has been in place much, much longer than the performance issues which sufferers report came about a couple of patches ago, with the patch in question having no connection with those points.

What is this 90% to 10% PvE to PvP player discrepancy you speak of? Yes, there's probably more PvErs around if you include the ones just doing overland and questing, but there's quite likely far more PvPers than regular Trial-goers at this point.

Sets and playstyles have been completely gutted in PvP because of PvE as well. Empower and DK heavy attacks are a prime example of this. An entire beloved playstyle was deleted just so some one bar PvErs could spam lighting heavies and do decent damage instead of having to learn an actual rotation. Just about every single heavy attack set in the game was nuked for PvE. Stalking blastbones was also deleted so incompetent PvErs wouldn't have to learn to press a button every few seconds. Far more has been destroyed for PvP to benefit PvE than the other way around.

The once-a-day horse training is kind of a turn off as a new player. Also, inventory management hell unless you subscribe to ESO plus. Creating a problem and selling the solution drives me away from games.

The horse training I agree with, should be able to pay for the lot up front with gold.

Nerf's to an extent but they are never going to stop balancing the game no matter how many complaints they get.

As for motifs, recipes, diagrams etc... you only need those on one character, I don't see the need to make them all account wide and you get some players that genuinely like collecting it all again, making it account wide would render it a one time purchase, most would end up too cheap to bother listing causing newer players to miss out on a lot of them.

Right. It's probably more like 98% to 2%. If you look at Steam's charts, Steam players are around 10K. Some people estimate that only half the PC players use Steam, and the other half use the native client. So say there are 20K people playing ESO on PC at any given time. I don't know if that's exactly right, but it should be the correct order of magnitude. Now add up everyone playing PVP in the instances of Cyrodiil, IC, and Battlegrounds. Maybe 300? 400? That's 2%. Given the discrepancy of the number of people playing, I'm surprised PVP continues to exist. As you say, it gets bent all out of shape because of PVE. I think there should be sets and skill lines that are exclusive to each, which wouldn't have to be nerfed or buffed because of the other.

This is an entirely valid point.

If there's going to be bragging about how much the game made, we shouldn't need to be constantly complaining about 'shortfalls'. There shouldn't be any shortfalls.

Completely agree. Sure, it's fun to run thru the quests once or twice however even if you enjoy running thru these repetitive quests over and over again, it gets old fast and takes away from the time I really want to spend doing something else with the game.

Nowadays I just wait for a Crown sale and buy whatever shards/skill lines, whatever I need. Many of us have lives and jobs and so forth, things we want to do in the game and plans for our characters but reinventing the wheel is detrimental and is really tiresome.

It would be nice if we had shards and things of the like that were account wide as opposed to people like me having to buy them one by one just so I can save time, so I have time to play the game... I don't need a second job.

Agree completely. Despite being the Anniversary year, content-wise it feels lacking, yet this is the year to announce how much money the game makes them? Just feels strange.

Also, while I wouldnt mind if all the furnishing plans, recipes, and consumables like those got made account-wide as well, with a collection book that isn't an add-on so we can flip through and see what we have or what we're missing.
Skyshards on the other hand I don't agree with homogenizing, and neither will zos as they sell them in the crown store to get you to buy them once you tire of running around looking for them.

I think there should be sets and skill lines that are exclusive to each, which wouldn't have to be nerfed or buffed because of the other.

I dare say that if PvP in ESO wasn't such a broken and onerous millstone to carry around (compared to the well-oiled machine people expect to access from a game system that has the purported triple 'A' status many of us came here for) you'd not only see more players naturally migrate from PvE to PvP as a logical next step in Tamriel, but you'd have a whole second pool of players who would make a home in ESO instead of other games specifically for the step-up to PvP.

But, hey, maybe that's just me thinking too much.

Additionally, I am in total agreement with every word in your last three sentences.
otoh: I'm not sure one way or the other whether the sets and skill lines would specifically need to be exclusive to either PvE or PvP, so much as they might just need to have different buff stats once a player enters Cyrodill, and revert back to PvE stats when porting back to the rest of normal PvE.

Just an idea to kick around.

Adding perfected armor/jewelry and weapons in arenas/trials.. After farming veteran Dragonstar Arena for so long prior for the weapons, I am still salty to this day that ZOS didn't convert my hard-earned weapons into perfected quality after they introduced perfected gear into the game. It became just normal quality as if I had done it on normal.. its a slap in the face and I felt that ZOS didn't respect my time and hard work. In addition, this game is grindy enough.. do we need to add in more grind? Also to only include weapons on the final boss is annoying!

Adding new sets for each new update..
    fmr1mu2gpxg1.png
According to the set items collected... there are a total of 9,803 sets in the game. Why are there so many sets in the game? Could this be the cause of so much lag? Instead of adding new sets... recycle old ones and redo them... oh and STOP with the nerfing already!

    Hmmm what annoys new players.

Well personally some messenger running "adventurer, we need your aid!" when I have spent like 10 minutes in the game. Not very appealing. The stalkers = big no thank you.

The horse training, got annoying over time yes. But not so much that it bothered me. As for skyshards, I found it a fun challenge the first time! Especially in Cyrodiil, it took a while to get all Cyrodiil skyshards but was great to get them all!

Sets is something that drives me crazy! You farm some particular set/sets for a while. This could take a long time if RNG is mean. Then some new DLC or expansion comes out and poof, you have to go farm another set. I despise this and just nope, I am tired of it.

I imagine it is very difficult for a new player to understand if a set is good or not, which to pursue, without looking up some guide or YouTube video.

The game is very laggy no matter what. Trials, pvp, zones, dungeons you name it the game lags terribly since a couple of patches ago.

I'd just like them to come together and tell us what performance efforts are actually underway. It seems like it's a major issue here on the forums and social media, but their website and CMs don't really seem to be communicating the same priority. Any time it's brought up, it feels like a monitoring-only situation. You'd think they say something by now.
Combine all recipes, motifs, diagrams, ect account wide. There is really no reason to learn anything on multiple characters. Yes this will impact the market but I rather have a lag free game than X person to horde more gold.

I agree, there's no practical reason to learn these things on alts. It feels like it's this way because it can be monetized, like I can buy XYZ motif multiple in the store. Maybe there's design constraints, who knows.
Skyshards account wide no need to farm on multiple toons this is redundant Bothersome and just plain boring and a pain in my side for 19 other alts. No need to store more unnecessary database information.

I wouldn't be sad if they eventually went this route, but I would really need to rethink what I do on alts.
Training your horse once a day with a total of 180 days to train a horse. If I have the gold let me max all my characters horse stats. This is unnecessary but thank god all my toons are maxed besides

If I ever became studio lead, this is one of the things I'd change day one. It was a legacy mechanic/problem left over from the OG subscription days, and they just put the solution in the store. It's inconsistent with similar mechanics like bank and bag upgrades, too. It's one of the primary reasons I do not create alts. When I'm spending more time just logging in for this for 180 days than I am playing the game, there's a problem.
Content is Dripped fed but made 2 billion dollars and brag about it. At least put that 2 billion back into the game.... same release content recycled over and over again

The bragging about profit really devalues their interviews for me. Along with the same tired tales of ESO's early days. None of that information excites me. And especially after some of the exchanges about things like Werewolf bites and respec scrolls, it's not something I'm rushing to applaud them on. Chapters feel very rote for me, and any time I see a new feature, I'm just waiting to see how it'll be in the crown store. I'm happy the game's making money, lord knows I've spent thousands on it, but it seems like there's a crown store focus over gameplay. That focus seems more intense since High Isle.
IA was a nice touch but rather lack luster please add more zones that arent BLACK AND GREEN please for the love of god save my eyes and make some changes lore friendly to add in a beach or something. good grief. Also increase the currency per stage or either lower the prices altogether.

IA is good in theory. But yeah, I agree, the color scheme is way too harsh for me. Unless there's an endeavor or something, I don't really go in there. It's a shame, because the assets are nice and the rewards are pretty respectable. I just can't look that color scheme for that long, and deal with losing progress on top of it. One QoL adjustment they could do tho - tell me what the leads are for. I shouldn't have to pull up my phone.

"Gets them out into the world"????

    That's the weirdest thing yet

Not really. I do something similar with surveys - my main character has been everywhere, so gets all the latest zones, others are "encouraged" to explore the world by being given surveys for particular zones.

    No to account-wide stuff!
Each character has his or her own story.

    Nerfing/changing gear sets

    Adding new(more) gear sets

    Scribing

Having to adjust to a new meta every 2 months.

Ball groups ruling Cyrodiil that run around 2 hours without dying. To the point if they are in Cyrodiil, I log off the game. There are other things IRL than go to the main PVP setting, which is NOT playable. So I just leave.

U44 is really encouraging players to take a break. For a couple of months.

No to the account wide suggestions. AWA was bad enough
