Character slots

The new item that just came in appears sweet as I have not bought the individual character slot.

Question:
Can we buy as many character slots as we want or is there a limited number of slots available?

Currently you can have 20 characters in total on each megaserver.

so it depends on how many character slots you currently have,
however i believe the character slot product says how many you can buy.

Yes, it does. IIRC, for me it says "2/12," because over the years I was given 2 free character slots-- 1 when Necromancer was added, and 1 more when Arcanist was added(?)-- plus I already had the 8 free character slots that everyone gets. So when I translate all of that, I've got 10 free character slots and could purchase up to 10 more if I wanted, for a total of 20.

That is a great thing to know, that is sweet with 20 available slots; however I don't think I am probably going to use that many characters; however a nice arsenal, I do not remember the capacity block, if I remember right, think there was like 85 slots last time I checked; however do not remember exactly, I like having the ability of having more than one follower, does this not include the Cyrodiil area for characters to combat during in game?
