Wayshrines and Dismounting

There was a discussion a while back about some zones (Argonian zones & Hew's Bane) where the wayshrines dismounted your character and prohibited your character from mounting while next to them, while the rest of the zones did not.

Now, West Weald has dismounting wayshrines? Why? What purpose does it serve to not be able to mount at the wayshrines?

    Clearly, some wayshrines are buildings.

There are other individual wayshrines in some zones that dismount also.

Have to say I find the "inconsistency" is really annoying. I would prefer to consistently be able to mount after materializing, rather than having to move away first. But either way, it would mostly like to see all wayshrines work the same way.

At least this reduces the visual clutter around the wayshrines, which is good, because it's a major problem in this game.

I started Gold Road today and got curious with this too. I thought that the only wayshrines where we're forbidden to mount were the Argonian ones. Is there any particular reason for this?

I think it's not related but another thing that I found unexpected on West Weald is that the cities have no loot. For example, all crates and other objects usually with stuff that we can steal, aren't interactable in Skingrad.

Most wayshrines you can mount at. This tells me that someone had to take time out of their day to make them nonmountable, because wouldn't it be easier to make each wayshrine object default mountable? Time that could have been better spent on literally anything else I think.
