Credit where credit is due

I've made several threads on these boards over the years calling out ZOS.

Back in March I noticed a trend of ZOS abstaining from communication almost entirely and made this post to call them out on it. It worked and got your attention and you said that ZOS would be working more towards their communication in the future. I was skeptical.

So this is me, giving credit where credit is due.

@ZOS_Kevin, obviously I don't agree with the direction the game is taking. There are still numerous issues and this patch, more than most in the recent history, has been particularly full of WTF moments (the azureblight thing might be the most laughable change - how do you fix a set and then break it in the same paragraph?!). However, I want to make sure it's acknowledged that I see you making an effort to communicate more and at least make your presence known. I can't be the only one noticing this, and if I am, I hope this thread helps.

I'd still like more, but I appreciate the effort you're making.

Thank you.

Agree, ZoS employees like @ZOS_Kevin make a clear effort to engage meaningfully on these forums.

    So thank you.

Agreed. I've kept that thread in the back of my mind, last PTS I almost made another post referrencing to say "What happened to this?"

... however, I've noticed a lot more engagement from Kevin's part despite knowing his comments may receive negative backlash from people who can't seem to contain themselves and understand this is a business with lots of moving parts. The fact that he addresses it at all like in this case, Azureblight or Pyrebrand from the other thread, is a win in my books. People just want to know their feedback is at least being read, whether or not ZOS actually acts on it. We can't expect them to always agree.

I've also noticed much, MUCH more official feedback and bug threads with (mostly) realistic, direct, and helpful questions to the developement of new and old changes. It really helps to streamline our feedback into these categories because I know ZOS is more likely to find valuable feedback within them vs 10+ threads from random people that seem to repeat the same sentiment. In this case, it's not Nightblade Cloak as a toggle. Nothing wrong with that, and I'm sure it illustrates some people don't like a change when it's popular to warrant multiple threads, but it doesn't necessarily mean it's valuable feedback. Easily lost among the thousands of threads that get created vs one that is heavily monitored with specific necessary questions from their developers.

I agree, I hope they keep stepping it up. I've liked it.

I still have a lot of issues with the game being someone who is a Necro main and a PvPer but they stepped up the effort.
