    Battlegrounds
We are continuing to monitor feedback regarding numerous Battleground features; PTS2 is focused on addressing issues seen prior to or during PTS1.
    • Joining a match in progress will result in lesser MMR loss for those joining the match. Notifications have been added when this occurs.
    • Battlegrounds will only begin if there are full teams on both sides.
    • All “non-round based” games have a shorter “end of game” transition.
    • Two game modes in Huntsman Fortress now properly disable Champion points and last 15 minutes. Previously, these matches lasted 5 minutes and allowed Champion points in error.
    • The Medal for carrying the Chaos Ball (Ball Bearer) has increased in value from 33 points to 50 points.
    • Reman’s Folly properly denotes the game mode and zone description when loading into that zone.
    • Descriptions of game mode queues in the Activity finder have been updated to also denote that Champion Abilities are disabled.
    • Improved Spectator Camera to be less disorienting.
    • Fixed an issue where the highlight for the battleground scoreboard player rows wouldn't appear correctly.
    • Fixed an issue where switching from the match results back to a previous round on the battleground scoreboard wouldn't refresh correctly.
    • Fixed issue where the Leave Battleground keybind was still usable in the battleground round recap screen even when it wasn't visible.
    • Fixed issue where a confirmation prompt was displayed when pressing the Leave Battleground button in the battleground round recap screen when it didn't need to

    Quest Rewards
    • Increased the Alliance Points earned from the daily Battleground quest based on the number of wins accrued.
      • 1 Win has been increased from 1,000 to 2,000 Alliance Points.
      • 2 Wins have been increased from 2,000 to 5,000 Alliance Points.
      • 3 Wins have been increased from 3,000 to 9,000 Alliance Points.

    New Life Festival
    • It's that time of year again! Some new rewards to find in your presents, including the New Life Winter Storm Robes outfit style. Seriously, this thing looks so cozy. The new Snowglobe Surprise memento is also available from the Impresario and event reward boxes.
    • Event tickets (3 per day) still come from any New Life daily quest you do, and the Impresario will have the final two fragments (out of five total) for the Haven of the Five Companions House.

    Necromancer
    Bone Tyrant
    • Grave Grasp
      • Ghostly Embrace: Fixed an issue where the damage over time effect from this morph’s second patch was not interacting with many bonuses, such as Critical Strikes or damage modifiers.
    Grave Lord
    • Frozen Colossus
      • Adjusted the timing of the SFX on this ability and it’s morphs to more closely match the animations.

    Warden
    Winter’s Embrace
    • Glacial Presence: This passive now increases the chance of applying the Chilled status effect from any source, rather than only Winter’s Embrace abilities.

    Scribing
    Banner Bearer
    • Adjusted the volume of the persistent sfx on this ability.

    itemization-and-item-sets.png
    Dungeon Sets
    • Azureblight Reaper: Reduced the base damage of this set by ~60%. Increased the scaling per target to 100% per additional enemy with a cap of 600%, up from 30% per with a cap of 180%. The increased damage now only increases after hitting more than 1 target, rather than directly increasing against 1 target – meaning you must hit 7 total targets to reach the cap, rather than 6. The damage increase now only works against monsters.
      • Developer Comment
        • Azureblight has been dominating the PvE and PvP scene in many cases for a while, and while we love the big booms it offers, the booms are a bit too big when used against a few enemies. As such, we're shifting the scaling to be reduced from the get go, and only scaling up to power when you're hitting the damage cap (7 or more enemies), in which there's even a slight buff to the set. In addition to this, we're also removing the scaling damage effect when hitting an enemy player, as the sets unique functionality between multiple wearers can create some incredibly overwhelming experiences with no clear counter play. Rather than try and find a balance between PvE and PvP for this set, and ultimately compromise so it doesn't feel particularly strong in either, we're removing the damage scaling effects against players – as Plaguebreak already fits the bill of the PvP big boom set.
        • Lastly, a clarification note – the set continues to scale based on enemies hit, regardless of if they're a player or not. The damage scaling effect only applies to monsters hit though, so you can still use the set effectively against non-players in IC and Cyrodiil (and technically player pets too, if you really dislike them).
