I'll go first mine is spell scribing nothing like the versatility of mixing and matching skills with the desired effects you would like.
I'm not too fond of how much the healing costs are for the healing skills or the nerfed oblivion damage.

Yet, for the most part its a pleasant fresh new thing for the game.

What's your favorite? and what didn't you like?

While I don't have a favourite as per say, I am going to list jewelry crafting, which is added with summer set just due to the sheer impact it had, completely changing the gear dynamics of the game for everyone on a level that hasn't been seen since they got rid of vet ranks.

Going back? Necromancer class. Followed by Warden. This will likely get me mocked, but I have only three characters:

Necro main. Finished every quest in the game.
Warden alt. Finished base game, early DLCs & Daedric War.
Necro alt, quickly becoming main. Soul Magic themed cro. SoulCro? Finished not a lot but really enjoying him.

I think OP was referring to Gold Road specifically and I would say it is a good chapter overall. It just feels "small"/short/empty, but aside from that it is really nice.

Scribing is a huge addition in my opinion, renewing the interest for the game.

Love West Weald (unlike Necrom/Apocrypha). The zone itself is fast becoming my "new game home". Not much interested in scribing (wasn't ditto in spellcrafting - magicka in TES was never of much interest to me), so as far as game additions go, aside from the zone itself, there's nothing specific I'm thrilled about. Caveat: the scribing quest line is my favorite quest line of the whole game though.

However, as far as the "year" itself goes, the houses (Merryvine Estate and Seabloom Villa) hit all my high points.

I haven't done much of anything with scribing itself, but I really enjoyed the scribing questline.

I also like the zone - the fall colours, how bright it is, the architecture.

I have a soul cro too. Recently switched from Oblivion's Foe to a general damage set though because Blastbones needs to hit hard to have any damage with a Cro.

    There is one card game...
No, it is not the answer  :D

I would mark not the expansion, but the basegame patches.
One Tamriel. It turned the standard MMO picture "empty noob zones vs crowded vet zones" into total freedom all over the viable zones and sets.
Sticker book with curated drop and reconstruction. It allowed me, as an altoholic, to cut the suffering of sets farming dramatically. In spite of the fact that it nailed down the coffin lid for set crafting, it is a great addition.

I would have to say Merryvale Estate. I have enjoyed decorating a house with a wine theme.
    Khajiit Stamblade main
    Dark Elf Magsorc
    Redguard Stamina Dragonknight
    Orc Stamplar PVP
    Breton Magsorc PVP
    Dark Elf Magden
    Khajiit Stamblade
    Khajiit Stamina Arcanist

    Hi point: scribing

Mid point: story. Short can be sweet.

Low point: being called 'proxy'. Just because I'm running all the errands doesn't mean I'm your errand boy. 😁

For gold road, The new trial. It's my favorite besides vhof.
Also the crafting area is the best if you don't need horse or bank, and even the bank is pretty close by.

For other chapters, the necro and arc classes, and antiquities. It's easy and you get nice stuff.
