Please for the love of god just get rid of the health and armor lines for crit lines. It's not gonna be used for solo play since oaken is gonna use pets, it's not strong enough for pvp, so please just make it usable in pve. People have wanted a reason to run non-pet sorc in pve for years, but there's never been anything to make it genuinely viable. This set can fix that if you just get rid of the two worthless lines holding it's damage potential back. Let sorcs have fun please :disappointed:

Beacon of Oblivion is not even close to making up for the damage you’re missing by not running pets. For it to do that, it would need to provide 30% damage instead of 15% to make up for the fact that it’s taking up one of your 5-piece sets. Adding lines of Crit would not change this.

That being said, this is the Daedric Summoning set, is it not? Why not ask for an adjustment to Monolith of Storms in the direction you’re looking for, as it’s the Storm Calling class set, instead of trying to encourage the idiocy that lead to the design of Beacon of Oblivion.

The reality is that while I would also have preferred a thematically fitting set bonus for deadric summoning, I still prefer to play a non-pet sorc. This set is imo great for non-pet sorcs, although in pvp would have been great to have it at 8/8% instead.

For pet sorcs, the pet bonus would need to be changed in a smart way to satisfy that part of the audience. It depends what the devs are balancing against.

Where are you getting 30% from? In top parses, pets make up 12-15% of the damage.

Making a non-summoning daedric summoning set is also a very strange design choice, but basing off what they did release, it was doa simply because it's barely more damage than the pets inherently do on their own and you don't have any other sources of damage on the set to make up for the increased in difficulty of the play style.

Pets do but in same time you wear another dps set with 7-10% of your dps
