We don't need and shouldn't have to endure an AI chat bot monitor

There are ethical implications all over the place with the implementation of an AI chat bot. But one that sends warnings and possibly even bans automatically with no human review is not just unethical and inappropriate, it's down right disrespectful of the customers.

There should NEVER be a ban without a human reviewing the data and making the decision to ban or not. Using an AI bot to draw up reports for a human to review is acceptable, but any action taken against the customer without a human first reviewing the alleged offense is completely inappropriate on every level.

Plus, it seems pretty clear this AI chat bot is radically impacting performance in a negative way.

ZOS, it's time to turn off the AI chat bot. It's disrespectful to the customers, it's resulting in many erroneous bans, and it's negatively impacting performance in a very substantial way.

If the AI chat bot was more reliable and didn't so negatively impact performance it might be acceptable. But as it is now, they system should be disabled. Let a human review reported complaints and go from there. It's clear this AI chat bot is not only an invasion of privacy and totally inappropriate, but it's highly unreliable as well.

Also, we don't need and shouldn't have to endure another AI chat bot monitor thread, not least because we haven't yet seen any direct evidence of anything beyond automated swear word recognition which we've always known about.

If there's anything new to add to the main thread on this then fine, let's focus on the discussion there, otherwise there'll be no follow-up by ZOS except the locking of the myriad of other secondary threads on the subject.

It's probably just an automod rather than an AI. Like the discord bot that bans people for posting sus links in my discord.

We did not agree to playing a rated E for everyone game. We purchased a game that is rated M for mature, meaning adult language and themes are to be expected. ZOS doesn't get to change the rating of the game after purchase without any kind of notification.

What's happening now is flat out a violation of privacy and highly disrespectful of the customer base. It's probably also impacting performance in negative way as well.

Also, where is your complaint about having a dozen or more threads complaining about the changes to NB cloak?

These ratings rate game content, not communication between players.
The rating is not made by ZOS.
    ZOS didn't change the rating.
They haven't removed any "M" rated content from the game.

As much as I understand people being unhappy with that's currently happening, I think it's important to remain factual.

If people can't handle reading a swear word they are welcome to turn on the profanity filter.

There was/is no problem this AI chat bot is solving. It's just creating problems in game and on this forum.

I agree with you that this whole thing is unneccessary and autobanning only causes problems because it doesn't understand context and will likely lead to wrong bans.

But the thing is that according to the TOS, certain words and topics are banned and ZOS can punish us for just using them. We accepted the rules when registering. They may have not enforced them for a decade, but they always could have - and now they're doing it. And I'm 100% sure they will not change the rules for us now. This is a lost battle.
