An easy fix, would be to have windows with 'no glass' and just the grating. There are work arounds to make some windows see-throughable by using grates/fence tops etc. Course, you don't get specific styles...
My beef with the see- through window from... i don't remember, one of the new ones, is you can't just stick it in a preexisting wall and be able to see out. You have to carefully build around it.
I would like more windows too. One that's completely see-through is the dawrven one from the undaunted vendor, but it's quite big and you'd have to build around it to turn it to summerset style.
The other notable see through window is the High Isle Window, Turquoise.
Quite nice to build with, it can be used on top of each other to varying degrees to produce different size windows and meshes together pretty well.
Before we had any see through windows I used multiple Display Case, Specimen joined together to produce clear windows, they were pretty effective but had a couple of negatives.....
1:- You used a fair few spaces for one decent size window
2:- You need to be using resonably thick walls to cover the depth of the display case.
Edit to add piccies....

When people say to me........
"You're going to regret that in the morning"
I sleep until midday cos I'm a problem solver!
Thanks
And while we're on the subject of expressing our desires for windows with clear glass - these bay windows would also be fantastic with clear glass!
