Same here. It will not drop for me either. Been trying daily for weeks. Kill at least a 100 a day and nothing to show for it.

I got it months ago. It's just really long even if you farm Wamasus at Gray Mire for example.

In 1,000 1-point elite kills on live, I got 5 ink drops (0.5%). That means the drop chance almost certainly won't be above 1% at the highest.

How many wamasu have you killed so far without receiving ink?

I haven't tested public dungeon mobs for drops, but I will say that RNG is very streaky by nature.

When I tested pure trash (not even the 1-point elites, the 0-point regular guys) for 1,000 kills on PTS (after they increased the rate), I got 2 ink drops: on #572 and #582. The two drops came very close together with long ink-less stretches on either side.

If the drop rate from Wamasu is indeed 0.5%, then that doesn't mean one will drop every 200 kills. You could go many, many more and still not get one. The lower the sample size and the lower the chance, the less confident we can be about the conclusions we're trying to draw. That's part of what makes it so hard to show whether there's a bug or not in cases like this.
