I want to build my own house

Can we add some buildings that we can participate in the construction of ourselves? In that case, as long as we have enough building materials, we can build our favorite style of manor.

You can build any kind of house you like with the ESO structural furnishings - that's the wonderful thing about housing!

As @Lugaldu says you can build many different styles of houses from scratch, however building a specific style of house such as say Bosmer or Khajiit is more difficult as early base game styles have few or none actual structural furnishings.

If you want to try building for yourself there are many places where there is room but for an empty building plot my two favourite homes are......

Coldharbour Surreal Estate - available for ingame gold and totally clearable to a flat piece of land BUT the light is a bit blue.

Moonsugar Meadow - Only available for Crowns but not too high an amount, again pretty much clearable EXCEPT for a clump of rocks slap bang in the middle, so very annoying! The light in this home is more normal though.

    Happy building! 🙂

I know, I'm house crazy, and would like more structures. I'm trying to build something in my Sword Singers Redoubt but I'm surprised of the lack of Redguard structures. Walls, platforms, etc. I know there's so many items you can mash together to create something, but then that just takes away from your total traditional item count.

@ellmarie There are some newer Redguard structural pieces but early stuff you are pretty much stuck with tents and canopies, although one of my trusty goto's is using bookcases as walls. :)

    Newer items.....

All of the above are from Luxury Vendor but you should be able to find them in Guild Trader's :)

I know, I had the same problem with Seabloom Villa. I'd been planning on adding some matching buildings before I remembered, duh... we don't have things like walls with doors, doors themselves, plain walls, etc. in the Alinor style.

I put together some fences and arches but realized it would take too many slots so I gave up on that plan for now.

Try to combine the Alinor fences and arches with some large structural furnishings like the new wooden walls in Colovian style, I think the white-dark brown contrast fits well together, especially when combining with Alinor-furniture. That spares a lot of slots!

And regarding the Redguard structural furnishings - I think it always fits to combine the existing structurals with Fargrave structural furnishing.

Oh wow, gorgeous! 😍 That's so well done. You're right, it blends in very nicely.

@freespirit Ah, yes the Luxury expensive items! lol. I do have some of those that I kept grabbing at the vendor. I am flat broke with in-game money atm, so I will try the bookcases. Or with @Lugaldu plan and use Fargrave. And beautiful building!!

    Thanks for the tips!

I hear you @Marronsuisse. I have several unfinished houses that if I just am not finding the right pieces, I will walk away and come back when I find them.
