Stuck in IA due to Mob shoved into wall

Just killed the new minotaur mob and started looking for the one last mob I was missing to finish the stage.
Found it. It's out of reach for me, though.

You think the Cipher's are going to mind me "borrowing" some books to lit a campfire? Looks like I might be involuntarily staying for a while and it's a bit chilly in here.

Update: Since I cannot leave the stage and not logout either due to being stuck in combat (yay), I close the game entirely in order to simply restart, login and have another go at things.

Too bad I cannot login anymore because apparently the login servers cannot be reached right now, according to the error message popping up.

This happened to me in the exact same spot. I think was a dwemer sphere mob that got caught. I went above and started casting all my skills to see if anything worked. I was on a sorc and found that the aoes from the Atro ulti could damage it, but it wasn't enought to kill it. There were these aoes downstairs that the spheres drop, so I just rolled dodged through them to built back ulti and finish it off. It was lucky, and it probably wouldn't have worked given other circumstances, but if it happens again might be worth it going around all the surrounding areas and dropping skills to see if something works. Of course it would be best if things like this didn't happen but what can you do

Thanks for asking, but all issues have been resolved. I was able to log back eventually.

there used to be issues where the mobs would spawn inside walls or underground in some stages

theres a couple ways i found of fixing it:

certain verses/visions can still damage the enemies (scorching support is a good one for this)
the other method requires another player, if you invite them to group, then break the group, the instance will give you the prompt to leave instance

the prompt to leave instance comes up in dungeons for example when you have only 2 players left in group and then the group is either disbanded or leaves, then the instance will force kick everyone, the same concept works in the archive too since its also an instance

i had to do this once when a mob was stuck in the floor and i had no way to interact with them due to not having scorching support at the time
