Why was handpan emote blocked?

After the last update when I try to use the "handpan" emote it tells me that the emote is blocked.

✭✭✭✭✭Oh, I seem to have the same problem, but with a different emote. I realized yesterday evening that that message showed up in the upper right corner, but I thought it was a problem with my (not yet updated) add-on, not with the emote itself (I have an add-on that randomly plays emotes from a list when the player character is idle). I'll have to check later which emote it is.@Syldras | PC | EU

as @Syldras suggests it could be an addon issue.
weird, I'll try to use it again in the evening when I get home. I don't use many add-ons, but translation is what I usually have active all the time. It might cause a conflict. I'll try this too. Thanks for giving me hope

✭✭✭I noticed that emotes that I put on the first quickwheel were not working a while back but if I went to the Social menu option they worked. Could that be what is happening here?

✭✭✭✭✭I can't say which emotes do not function through my mod (the emote list is just too long and they trigger in a random order, so I can't just go through them all for a test), but at least I tested the whole list once by typing them into the chat box by hand - and that way, they all work.
