The patch downloaded fine for me through steam. Don't forget eso doesn't update through steam's system, you have to run the launcher and it updates eso.

Should have said for clarity I was referencing the launcher, but still my bar remains unblue.

The possibility strikes me that the launcher could have restarted as part of the patch but that would be a first as far as I am aware.

That wouldda been more like early nineties.
In '98 56.6k modems were quite common.
If anyone here says: OH! But, PVP! I swear I'll ...

Thank you for the valuable input and respectfully recommend to discuss that aspect of ESO on the PVP forum.

The modems were common then, but boy howdy, if you got above 28kbs from most UK providers, the gods were shining on you.

Back in my day, we didn't have no telly fones or inter webz. We had to use tin cans connected by string, and it only worked if the person on the other end of the line was within 3 feet of you!

Seriously, though, I'm on Steam and everything updated fine, although I haven't logged into PC EU yet. Looking forward to it, those patch notes look interesting.
I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!
