Feature request : used soul gems to revert to empty
Least it didn't seem to me that soul gems used with Anchorite's Potency return to being empty.
Without it, we're kept in a re-stocking loop to get empty soul gems instead of just using Soul Trap/Soul Splitting Trap to refill them in real time.
After all, why not ? Do batteries vanish upon use ?

But we can already purchase unlimited quantities of filled soul gems from NPC merchants with gold. Or if we want to save a bit of gold, we can buy empty soul gems and fill them ourselves. No need for anything in the Crown Store.I've fought mudcrabs more fearsome than me!0 -

I was looking to buy empty ones but couldn't remember where to find them. The enchanters should sell that kind of stuff.0 -

✭✭✭✭✭Lore wise there are some powerful Daedric soul gem artifacts (like Azura's Star) that can be re-used.
The Drawback is that you would need to re-charge it every time you use it, so if you would die before killing anything (or RNG would be bad and you would not re-fill empty re-usable, empty soul gem), you could not re-spawn. So in the end you would still need to carry some soul gems with you.
Game already has something that kinda acts like re-usable soul gem - Soul Summons passive:

Allows you to revive once every 1 hour without spending a Soul Gem.
