i have my main house (grand topal hideaway) listed in the housing tours, it has multiple target dummies, scribing altar, and grandmaster stations (in progress being filled out), as well as almost every antiquity furnishing on display to preview them

They literally have
at the top of the forum and it's... *checks calendar* the 17, we're barely 2 days into the week, I doubt there is anything "last minute" about nothing being up there at this time. We've got MYM next week so there is most likely gonna be some maintenance before that. Just FYI... those announcements do not appear for everyone. For example, I do not see what you showed. I see other announcements, but not that one. I probably clicked on the "X" years ago and they probably just edit the notification rather than posting a new one.

I am sure they do.
They tell us a patch is coming a couple days in advance. For consoles, they had to know two weeks in advance for any client changes, and since the client patches are linked to the server, if the console patch goes forward, there will be server maintenance for it.

For example, in my timezone the PC maintenance is always in the evenings.
I get options to do overtime a week or two in advance - I like to do overtime on patch day.. [snip]
