Since when do the shoulder style pages drop from the dungeon coffers instead of the mystery ones?

Hey guys,

since the fiasco with the Blind shoulder style page not dropping from Ulgarlag's mystery coffer i lost all my keys again, this time to Glirion's Mystery coffer. As i have the hm achievement, i tried my luck gambling again, thinking to myself that with better drop rates i surely won't be needing 50 keys...i was gravely mistaken, so i asked customer support, and got this answer:

When did this happen? When did the shoulder style page move to dungeon coffers instead of mystery ones? Did anyone get the Valkyn Skoria shoulder style page from Glirion's Mystery Coffer or the City of Ash coffer? The Crown Store showcase clearly states that it should drop from Mystery Box...

Yer... I'd take that answer with a grain of salt and ensure the lackey from customer support knows exactly what they're talking about first. That doesn't sound correct to me either.

You should absolutely request refund of the keys you spent, considering the info in that showcase pane.

I got the shoulder from the mystery box I believe, it just took a lot more keys than I expected.

Besides explaining your case, do your homework as extensively as you can and search every Patch Notes since the date of that showcase to confirm if that change hasn't indeed been presented to the player base. Also check the official Knowledge Bases and the unofficial ones (UESP, Reddit…) and gather as much information you can, always taking pictures ESPECIALLY of dates.

Back in the day of my personal case, when we had no information that a reconstructed mythic wouldn't refund Transmutation Crystals whatsoever, they tried so very hard to deny my rights. They even makeshift an official Knowledge Base article during the refunding process thinking I wouldn't look at the dates, and after exhausting persistence I won the case — but ended up being verbally assaulted and threatened by a salty GA.

Yeah, i'm in for a tough ride. After providing screenshots and explaining i got another person who told me they'd escalate my ticket to a specialised team...and then the member of the specialised team told me they cannot grant me the loot i want, not answering my question for clarification...at all. So yeah...explaining it again, that i don't want the loot, i want a key refund IF the style page won't drop from mystery coffer, and a clarification on the drop source, since support and official homepage say two different things...they might have not bothered to read the previous mails.

I did some superficial homework before, but didn't find any complaints about Valkyn Skoria shoulder style drop rates...which doesn't necessarily means there is no problem, since many players probably have it for a long time (i also simply forgot buying it when it was available last time)...and the last time there wasn't a heightened drop rate for hm achievement. I suspect the problem with the Blind was somehow linked to that hm achievement, since i never experienced any problems with drops before the hm achievements were introduced.
The patch notes i always read, but i can't remember any changes made here.

I have screenshots of what was posted, but i honestly don't want to put in more time into the research than into a vet hm dlc dungeon run.

I got 1 Valkyn Skoria shoulder page from the Glirion Mystery box. I spent 5 or 6 keys or so. Seems the usual droprate to me.

@Salmeyna Both of those responses still look like the AI generated customer support system responses that ZOS uses. Just keep trying until you get a response that does not look like a standardized form is being filled out.

I would like to know as well, if the one key coffers still have a chance at dropping the should style pages? As a crafter I seldom have time to run many pledges and my supply of keys are extremely low at most times. Spending 5 keys per box for a chance at the rate that ZOS has chosen for "rarely" is too expensive for myself and I have never had 50 keys to spend at a single time.

I was very disappointed not to get the blind shoulders after buying the arms pack and mask style page. I would have bought the blind shoulders too, if I could have found it on a guild store.

For your information:

After some back and forth i got someone actually checking the drops too, with and without achievement. They still drop from the Mystery Coffers as all previous ones, and it is indeed obtainable, as some already confirmed here. I just had very bad luck. Welp. At least this style page is not bugged.

The City of Ash Coffer seems to have been a misunderstanding on support's part, disregard that. Style page should drop as usual.
