The constant Tarnished attacks are getting old.
You can always tell when a set is OP by how many people are using it in PvP
My poor melee toons (Arcanist, Necro, DK) don't stand much of a chance these days. If they go into a group swinging, they will be hit by 7 Tarnished Nightmares, 3 VDs, 2 RoA, 4 haunting curses...
If you wear Rallying or Wretched on the back bar, then I don't think you will become a truly dangerous gankblade.
Special trick? Don't leave us hanging. Does Healthy Offering proc it, or something?DrNukenstein wrote: »If you wear Rallying or Wretched on the back bar, then I don't think you will become a truly dangerous gankblade.
False.
Tarnished and construct are such dense procs that are easy to fit on your build that you are a fool if you do not pick up a back bar set that gives some sustain and/or defense.
You get that extra oomph from the sea serpent coil and special trick that makes you get it's buffs during your gank combo.
Here is a 42k gank landed with the setup. I believe it would've popped harder if I was using Surprise attack, but was experimenting with some extra zoom zooms on the coil.
Pop Quiz: Is the back bar rally or wretched?

It's not offering, but that was my first idea. I was kind of disappoint.
You will not learn the trick here. You will only learn of it.
What it requires is a part of the puzzle, but the bigger part is how it's used.
How can the gamer guarantee they will take damage at full health at the exact moment they "enter combat", not a moment before or a moment after?

as far as im aware any "self damage" (mainly abilities that have health cost) does not proc "taking dmg" procs
Most of the NB I see are faster than me now matter how many swift+celerity I have. But, when I used the coil, the 40% snare always bothered me, how do you get around it, or are you just a brawler build? 3 swift plus celerity = 31% and Coil is 40% snare

would simmering fury or a ravage potion do it?

3 swift and a good major expedition source is comfortable for me, and gives a cool Out of combat zoom!/in combat boom! effect. Some effects do remove or suppress the coil snare, but not snare removal.
Haha-- more hints of work arounds! I don't suppose you'll tell us how people suppress/remove the coil snare?

I not only wish they nerfed proccsets like this, but that all the other proccsets thereafter created for DLCs wasnt as OP in its creation.
I’ve really been considering grinding this set as a replacement for orders wrath. I guess they got me, gotta have the dlc lol
